Woah!... This was the scene outside Rep. Jim Moran's town hall meeting on Tuesday night.
Today's Hope and Change... Officer Cheeks tells some town hall protesters to put away their signs or he'll "charge them with trespassing or whatever he wants."
This video was taken on Tuesday, August 25th, 2009 at Rep. Jim Moran's (D-VA) Town Hall meeting on Obama Deathcare (Howie Dean was there too) held at South Lakes High School in Reston, VA.

Nearly all of the Fairfax County Police are good guys. They’re well-trained and, for the most part, very professional. My only bad experience with any of them has been indirect - my wife was hassled by a cop directing traffic when a traffic light went out. This is no big deal - she had a bad day, and I’m sure he wasn’t happy to catch that task that day.
That said, I’ve never seen nor heard of Wesley Cheeks. He might be a newer hire. There’s probably a reason he’s confined to the yuppie part of Reston.

I was interested in seeing if there had been any reprimands or potential lawsuits.

The so called “officer” is not FCPD...he is a Fairfax County School Security Officer.
If this happened Tuesday why is it just now coming out and why have we not heard that the guy is fired and ACLU is doing what it usually does.

I’ve never seen a school security uniform with a large badge like “cheeks” had, which leads me to believe he was a cop. They’re not suppose to look like cops for reasons..at least that’s my understanding. In my experience if they had a badge, it was small.

I won't bother you with the tales I had to put up with 30 years ago when I was the straightest kid in the world working a late-night job, getting threatened by coked-up Fairfax County cops. I'd rather live in North Korea than Fairfax County. I have to visit my elderly Mom there and it is depressing.
Most Fairfax County police officers wear gray shirts, but I have seen shirts this color before. He appears to be an actual officer.
