Superman is such a freaking hypocrite. The entire city of Kandor is sitting in some bottle in his Fortress of Solitude and he never does one thing about it. He’s like “oh. You’ve got to stay in this bottle because you’re tiny”. WHY? Millions of super powered beings wasting away in a bottle because superman says they’re too tiny to contribute to society outside the bottle.

So now Superman, who once stood for “truth, justice and the American way,” has been co-opted, turned into an Obamabot? Why?

Back in the 1960’s, the French “Situationists” used to doctor up comic strips with a lot of Marxist jargon. It’s good to see this practice come back and be used for a good cause.

Exactly! Kandor was the ultimate in nanotechnology, but Superman kept them cooped up like an ant farm.
I think Superman had this complex where he had to be the only super powered being on Earth. Whenever Jimmy Olsen or Lois Lane got super powers, he spent the rest of the comic book trying to get them "back to normal" because "they couldn't handle it".
Don't even get me started on his cousin, Supergirl. He kept her stashed in an orphanage, for crying out loud.

The original is here:

It was posted as "proof" that Superman wants Obamacare. The cartoon was then reworded and posted to a conservative blog.

Heh. I did my own "re-working" of
that very same cover once, ages and ages agone.
(Link only, as I doubt the mods would approve.) ;)

Ah...you know, it's funny, in the original Superman talks about exactly what they claim they want now (taxpayer-supported health care for everyone) as if it's already in place. Because it is...there's no one in America who is denied medical care because they're poor, and taxpayers pick up the tab.
In general Superman is my favorite comic book character, but some writers make him into liberalman. Never happens with Batman.

That kid’s at least the second person to find out Clark is Superman and simply refuse to believe it. When Lex Luthor found out, he decided no one with that much power would pretend to be a normal person at all.
