recently wrote a critique of the art community’s lack of dissent in the face of many controversial decisions made by the current administration. Entitled “The Artist Formerly Known as Dissident,” one of the key points argued in the article was the potential danger associated with the use of the art community as a tool of the state. I posted a related thread on “What is Socialist Realism?”

This is what the NEA is doing, right now “voluntarily.” But the road we’re on is the same as with Lenin, etc.

This by far is one of the scariest things I’ve heard! Using taxpayer dollars to indoctrinate the masses on a socialist agenda.

he didn’t say that. He was sure to point out that NEA money wasn’t used, but artists were encouraged on the behest of the NEA to create art favorable to the admin.

Does this smell like Hollywierd liberal types? Some of these sick "stars" are the most ignorant in the Country and I wouldn't put it past them to fund this propaganda.
