Palin to Deliver Keynote Address at CLSA Investors' Forum
Conservatives 4 Palin ^ | Tuesday, September 1, 2009 | Mel Bryant

Posted on 09/01/2009 7:15:33 PM PDT by Texas Fossil

Meg Stapleton, Governor Palin's spokesperson, confirmed to Fox News something that made its way around the blogosphere yesterday: Governor Palin will be traveling to Hong Kong to speak at CLSA's Investors' Forum:

While Palin will not be going to Florida, she will be delivering a keynote speech in Hong Kong, China later this month, according to her spokeswoman, Meg Stapleton.

Palin will be speaking to a forum organized by CLSA, a Hong-Kong based brokerage firm, and will address the company's clients and delegates at the 16th Investors' Forum.

Speakers in the past have included Bill Clinton, Al Gore and Alan Greenspan.

The brokerage firm put out a press release on her attendance yesterday, in which they talked up her accomplishments:

CLSA Chairman and CEO Jonathan Slone said: “As the first female governor of Alaska and the youngest person ever elected governor of that state, Palin has broken new ground in US politics and we are delighted that she will make her first visit to Asia to present at the CLSA Investors’ Forum.”

“CLSA consistently sets the benchmark for original and thought-provoking content, and aims to present global political and industry leaders whose policies and platforms have influenced global markets.”

That seems like an odd venue. But hey, hopefully they pay handsomely.

She will do great. She does not need teleprompter like Obozo.

For Investor in this economic time to be willing to pay $100,000 and her travel to Hong Kong they are serious.

This one could give he a real International Credibility boost.

Texans love Sarah Palin and pretty soon investors in Hong Kong will too.

Is $100K plus expenses enough?

I’m not familiar with the CLSA at all. What do they usually discuss at meetings like this? I can’t wait to hear what Sarah has to say. It’s AWESOME to hear how so many in foreign countries want to hear from her..but..but, the media keeps on saying no one cares about her. IN YOUR FACE MEDIA

I really wonder what is the criteria that Sarah and her team use to decide where she gives her speeches... Is it money? Influence? Or visibility?

If the boys in Hong Kong are willing to pony up that much cash just to size her up. Someone thinks she is credible.

I predict that she will be a smashing success in China.

My son-in-law went over there this year, and was not impressed with the smells nor the food. He went on business, not as a tourist.

I hope Sarah’s book is a great success.

And that we continue to get coverage as we move forward with the Tea Party Express to DC.

{Speakers in the past have included Bill Clinton, Al Gore and Alan Greenspan}

Palin is something special to receive an invitation from an elite financial organization which invited past Presidents and Veeps. The Left will go bonkers over this news. To them, Palin is a quitter and idiot who doesn’t deserve these invitations. Palin can laugh her way to the bank.

I’ll bet they want to see what she is capable of, and sense that Obozo will implode soon. It is obvious to everyone that he is not capable of RUNNING the country. Just capable of RUINING the country.

If his support continues to collapse, it might be that someone could produce his BC.

Impeachment anybody? Treason as a charge?

Pretty amazing isn’t it?

EXACTLY..show me any supposedly finished politician who gets invited to speak in Hong Kong where former Presidents have spoken, plus she will get 100,000+ to give her speech. No wonder liberals were going nuts saying this was a prank LOL..If Sarah wants to finish Obama off, she should speak at the D.C Tea Party. Imagine, Sarah Palin, giving a speech in front of the Capital, and Obama hearing “Sarah Sarah” from his window, he will crap his pants

I think it might be to boost her “cred” so the evilmongers won’t be able to criticize her for not being savvy on international issues. (Visibility, too, I expect.)

Now that's, what I have been waiting for! The confirmation by SarahPAC. She will hold a great speech!

The liberals have their panties in a twist now and try to suggest her that it's all a trap to embarrass her at the forum! They want to deny her the stage... such losers.

Palin PING!

Anyone on or off the Palin ping, write me.

They are just afraid that she will get more publicity and an international stage. Therefore they try to scare her away by suggesting the organizers set a “trap” for her.

There's that, and then there's the world suffering from Messiah Malaise where she will be a breath of fresh air.

The left are probably hoping she'll be quarantined 'cause someone in her group 'pig-coughed' at the airport.

Not that I am aware of. Only heard yesterday that it was confirmed.

Searching the CLSA website, I cannot find any mention of Sarah speaking later this month.

Anyone with a link to their speakers' list to confirm?
