Here is a CNN video report on the soon-to-be published memoir of the late Sen. Ted Kennedy and a few quotes from it. In the memoir, Kennedy reportedly says he "always accepted official findings of JFK's assassination," meaning the Warren Commission's finding that Lee Harvey Oswald was the assassin, and that he acted alone.

He also reportedly admitted that his actions at Chappaquiddick were "inexcusable."

The memoir is to be released on September 14. . . . (Watch Video)

I wonder what he thinks about JFK Jr’s plane crash and why his body was cremated so fast. It’s kind of unusual that a Kennedy is not put in the grave!!!

Ted was a leading establishment figure. It’s not surprising that he would spout the establishment line (at least in public). What did he really think? What did he really know?

And why wouldn’t he?
No one benefitted more than old Teddy boy.
The tragic deaths of his brothers helped shield HIM from criticixm in many instances...

Exactly! Reading the article, my mind immediately went to his nephew, John. Did he really believe ‘that report’?

After the crash, I was so sure Caroline would have a private investigation that I was stunned when she didn’t. Surprised his wife’s parents didn’t either. I will never understand liberals - they are like a different form of human w/their mindset.

I agree. Also, his abortion stance. He did not list that along w/his ‘accomplishments’ (i.e. education, healthcare) in his letter to the Pope because he knew it is/was wrong.

Mentally, his last few months must have been hell and his last ditch effort before meeting his Maker, he reaches out to the Pope for solace.

That’s it, exactly! She KNEW he would have won and that would have totally interfered w/her rise to the top! Moreso, when they already had in the works Daniel Patrick Moynihan resign his seat to make it available for her!
