The Obama Administration, Explained
The American Thinker ^ | September 12, 2009 | Gene Schwimmer

Imagine a large city, such as my home town, Detroit used to be, before liberalism destroyed it. Imagine that, in this city, a developer offers to buy a plot of land on which to build a multi-story office building. The upper floors will provide space for visionary entrepreneurs to start new businesses and to expand existing ones, create new products, new services and above all, new jobs. The ground floor will be retail space, providing much-needed products and services to the people who work in the offices above and to the rest of the city, too. And of course, for the people who work in them, the new stores will provide jobs.

Elections have consequences. Too bad that many people do not become informed AND THINK before they vote, and about what they vote for. This lesson is coming at a huge price to America....already.

I just hope America is waking up before it’s too late and our passion can hold the tide until November 2010.

Obama's synchophantic followers aside, I think we can safely conclude that community organizing in no way qualifies one to be President of the United States.

Sometimes I think all the hubub about “get out and vote” that people hear at election time has actually trivialized the experience of voting. Voters who are less than serious about the process and don’t stay informed treat elections almost like an American Idol type of contest. And we end up with conmen and demagogues as a result.
