No president in history came to office with more political capital than Barack Obama. He squandered it like a lottery winner within a few months. If liberals had any sense of irony, they would appreciate the inanity of braying about racism right after America elected a black president.

Obama’s entire life has been devoted to fomenting racial animus. All of his mentors, from the rancid racist and surrogate father, Frank Marshall Davis to Fan of Farrakhan, Jeremiah Wright, have been rabid, whitey despising racists.

In his fictional “autobiography”, Obama is consumed by bigotry. He can find ersatz discrimination in nearly any situation. Even his white mother was preoccupied with race.

In Dreams, Obama describes his mother’s overly romanticized view of black Americans: “Every black man was Thurgood Marshall or Sidney Poitier; every black woman Fannie Lou Hammer or Lena Horne. To be black was to be the beneficiary of a great inheritance, a special destiny, glorious burdens that only we were strong enough to bear.” (Dreams From My Father, Pg. 51).

I think that is correct. I am not against helping someone down on their luck. Charity is a wonderful thing. But crippling the incentive of people so that they become life-long dependents harms the social fabric of our nation. The Democrat party harms blacks. The Democrat politician says vote me into power and I will throw a few crumbs your way. All you have to do is keep me in power. But don't develop your self-restraint. Don't develop your talents. Stay dependent on handouts. Give me power and I will give you some crumbs of bread.

I have been watching all the cable networks and on MSNBC there is a debate between the liberal democrats (progressives) and the moderate democrats (moderate liberals) . The progressives like BCC, MSNBC Olbermann, Maddow, even Mathews are all enthused about this racist stuff. But the democrat moderates are pointing out that that the Jimmy Carter accusation was a disaster for Obama, that Carter starting a race was with everyone that is opposing or questioning Obama on policy is the worst thing that could have happened to Obama trying to get stuff passed. They also say reconcilation would be a disaster for democrats, as progressives are demanding(as I picked up on from them a few months ago.)

Obama may have been a race baiter at one point. He may have won dem primary because of race. But the last thing he wants and needs now is a race war or race debate. Glenn Beck speculated that Health care reform was really about racial reparations. This theme would kill most of Obama’s initiatives.
