Remember all the rhetoric from the Washington and media leftocracy that the right is poisoning the airwaves and TV with “hate speech”? (In fact, Chris Matthews is so concerned about right-wing hate, he has preemptively laid blame at the feet of conservative radio if anything bad happens to Barack Obama.) And remember not too long ago a certain Republican Congressman, Joe Wilson, was lambasted for purportedly creating an atmosphere of incivility within the hallowed halls of Congress?
Well, yesterday Jay Leno had the loathsome Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) on. During the conversation, this exchange took place:
LENO: If you had to have dinner with one of the following political conservatives, which one would you choose: Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck or Ann Coulter?
FRANK: I guess of the three, I would take Rush Limbaugh because it would be very painful, and he would come with the painkillers, which he always has. [Applause] ...
Rush has a very thick skin and doesn’t let this stuff bother him, but I personally am so fed up with these drug jokes and feel compelled just for the record to give you liberals/Democrats out there a lesson on civility you desperately need:
For a sitting Congressman to make fun of a private citizen’s prescription drug addiction—several years after he’s already overcome it—is neither civil, compassionate, nor funny.
But you “civil” and “compassionate” liberals won’t get it, will you. Maybe you don’t want to.
I’m just so fed up with the double standards and the hypocrisy. You destroyed a decent and inspiring black scholar who grew up dirt poor in the South like Clarence Thomas. In the early 80s, I was in my 20s and was working out at a gym. I thought I recognized Barney Frank using a Nautilus machine nearby. While I was looking toward him and wondering why the Congressman was out of his district, he started eyeing me in a way that was creepy and made me quite uncomfortable. I got out of there ASAP.

It’s a badge of HONOR to be dissed by such a vile, repugnant creature as Frank. In fact, if I was Rush, I’d really start to worry if a sleazy douchebag like Frank did NOT diss me when asked! It’s a sure sign and Rush knows he’s on the right path/track (especially if Al Gore is in his sights...hehe).
Ugh....in Barney’s case....we DO know where that paw has been!!!
I know I won’t. But nor will I forget that the guy many think is some kind of light in the darkness is nothing more than a junkie.
On the upside, he’s straight, he’s conservative and he doesn’t live off of taxpayer’s money like the leaches in government. He’s also quite entertaining and says what I’m thinking most of the time. That’s a win-win in my book.
