I’ve noticed that the Bobbsey Twins, Susan and Olympia are trying hard to act like conservatives.

“I’ve noticed that the Bobbsey Twins, Susan and Olympia are trying hard to act like conservatives.”

Snowe, Collins & Spector (changed to Demo right after the tarp vote) are the 3 Rinos that passed the Tarp!

Screw’m!!

Two terms for congress. One term in office, one term in prison.

I am not really for term limits because I don’t think they would do any good. Bad people will generally succeed bad people unless you change the voters as well. And bad may chase out good where you agree with someone.

It has been ruled by the courts that you cannot prevent someone running for federal office if the meet the constitutional age and residency requirements.

BUT I have an idea that I think would be absolutely constitutional for federal offices if anyone wants to forward it.

You can’t stop someone from running for reelection. But that does not mean the Constitution says they have to be a party’s nominee. The political parties could adopt rules that forces incumbents to run as write-ins while the party puts other names in the primaries and puts pressure on the incumbent to withdraw. Without party support and someone else syphoning off the vote, that pressure would be so great that it would become the normal course.

If someone can win reelection anyway, that is a pretty good indication that absolute term limits would not give you a different kind of nominee anyway.

We cannot win this war of idea’s without a Party in which to fight. So a little house cleaning is in order. RINO’s should be on the endangered list for the 2010-2012 elections. The Republican Party & The RNC should only represent Conservative ideals & Candidates. The days of Dem Light are now over.Collins,Snowe,McCain, your days are numbered. Along with the rest of your RINO pals.

SCOTUS has already declared congressional term limits unconstitutional...

If done at the state level but what would be the outcome if done via an Amendment to the US Constitution?

Everything is conveniently unconstitutional to a RAT
when it’s in their favor.

I wish the RNC would do something about the corrupt democrats in West Virginia!! Some good commercials on Rockefeller’s liberal abortion voting and ties to Big Saudi Oil....would go a long way..
And definitely need to vote out Byrd!!

There's yer problem!

The RNC gave us Specter, Snowe, Collins, Graham, et al, because *they* know what's best for us stupid rubes.

We don't need term limits if the RNC keeps supporting more of the same. We either need a new party with a new charter that fully replaces the RNC -OR- we need to completely overhaul the RNC and ditch those in control who want the status-quo -OR- we learn to eat crap every election cycle.

Take your pick.

Illinois RINO Exhibit One:

Defeat this idiot in the Primary. He's disregarded not one, but TWO oaths to "support and defend the Constitution". As such he not only deserves defeat at the ballot box but a date with some hot tar, feathers, and a rail.

That’s a highly amusing link. Obama voted FOR the two bills they are most upset with Terry for voting for.
