This broke earlier this morning.
Bank of America Corp. is suspending its work with the housing affiliate of embattled community organizing group ACORN. The decision comes as three Republicans in Congress ask Bank of America and 13 other financial institutions to give Congress a complete accounting of their dealings with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now or its affiliates.

This is the same bank that will give illegals mortgages, correct?
I’m sure BofA is just going to work with La Raza (if they aren’t already).
Here, ACORN and its affiliates extorted BOA big-time to give “affordable,” preferential mortgages to minorities as a condition of doing business. BOA eventually pulled out of the State.
“Im sure BofA is just going to work with La Raza”
NCLR (National Council Of La Raza) PRAISES BANK OF AMERICA’S CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE LATINO COMMUNITY
It is thus not surprising that Bank of America has been a major supporter of some of NCLRs most important and successful initiatives. For example, it was a critical early investor in the NCLR Homeownership Network (NHN)which currently operates in 50 sitesand today supports NHNs major foreclosure prevention and mitigation effort.
It was also the anchor investor in the Raza Development Fund, an NCLR support corporation and the nations largest Hispanic Community Development Financial Institution. Since 1999, Raza Development Fund has provided $400 million in financing to affordable housing, education, health, and other efforts.
All this, and Illegal Alien Credit cards, too!
Uhoh, looks like BofA’s ACORN protector in the hood may unleash the dogs. ACORN achieved that relationship through extortion.
We’ll know if BofA acturally did dump ACORN if bank robberies go up.
Here being where?
Well, there you go! Big surprise (not!)
Trying once again...
Bank suspends dealings with ACORN housing entity - 4 hours ago
Citibank, another bank receiving the letter from the three House Republicans, said in a statement that “we are deeply concerned about the recently released videos of frontline ACORN staff.” Citibank said it looks forward to the findings of an independent auditor and a timely resolution of the matter.
FReep mail me if you want on/off the list.
“Citibank said it looks forward to the findings of an independent auditor and a timely resolution of the matter.”
Translation: “I wonder how many millions ACORN stole from Citibank?”
I never had sex with that ACORN!
