Oh yeah, and for your redneck friends, you can make a gag (but cute) “Redneck wind chime”. Take a piece of wood and paint “Redneck Wind Chime” in crude letters, drill holes in them and put old cans, can openers, stuff like that to hang from the wood.

I used to cut little pieces of fabric,rickrack and lace and glue them on those glass ones for a crazy quilt efect.

My aunt would take small pine cones, wire them together in a wreath and spray paint it gold. It was very pretty, especially if a nice ribbon was added to it.

Homemade Christmas Ornaments

You can decorate uncut eggs, too. I use glitter, glue, and get the stickers from the folks at Dover :)

Now if someone can tell me how to catproof a Christmas tree...

One guy I know gives out brownie mixes in a big jar. He layers the dry ingredients and attaches a recipe with a bow. Interesting idea.
