Hi, I have been a longtime lurker, and this is my first post. I am a recovering democrat. I would like to ask all if they could email the IOC members to award the 2016 Olympics to Rio. Hillbuzz (yes, its a Hillary site, but they support Sarah Palin wholeheartedly) has a great post with all the email addresses. I think it would make a greater impact for Americans to lobby for Rio. (An added plus.. a slap in the face of Mrs."take no prisoners")

Why reward Obozo's hometown? He was a community organizer and left it in its present state. Do we really want that pisshole of a city to be on the world stage? I know I don't.
I fear it is a done deal. Got to see the IOC up close and personal in 96. They will fit right in with the Chicago mob. Graft and corruption are what gets the IOC’s attention, they go to it like a moth to a flame.

Olympics in Chicago is like a mobster hyjacking a trailer truck full of goods. Criminals acting like criminals. If anyone thinks this is about sportsmanship and competition, it’s about thievery of the highest order. Chicago is dead broke! where is the money gonna come from? The tax payers of America! Anyone pissed off?

I thought it was, but I really don’t think it is, Rio is in the lead and so I wrote all the IOC members asking them as an American to not give it to Chicago.
From what I have read on Rio blogs, they feel they have the lead.
If anyone can email the IOC members that would be great.

thank you for all the welcomes. Yes, I have been a lifelong democrat, the only time I voted for a republican was for Ronald R.
I think most democrats are left of center people, the liberals are those looney radical, america-hating crowd. The problem is now these lunatics have taken over a political party that I had been part of my whole life. I may have been a democrat, but I am an American first, and I believe in free markets, and a strong national security.
And frankly I am sick and tired of hearing that idiot slamming America over and over again!
I suspect there will be many people, democrats, like me who no longer identify with that digusting party, and the ironic part is the Democrat Party (notice I am now saying “democrat party”) has no clue how many people it is losing. I am not an republican, but I consider myself a conservative independent.
Personally I would rather have the Resident spend his time jacking around with Olympics Committee crooks and Chicago venue crooks, than having any spare time to think up bad stuff to do like surrender to Taliban, Cuba, Iran, nationalize banks, nationalize car companies, nationalize healthcare and abort babies with public money.
Let’s keep the Whtie House focused on something that takes a lot of attention, keeps him out of the country, and burns time with minimal in-country impact so we can get rid of this nutjob naive egomaniac.
