Howard Fineman takes to the pages of Newsweek to say the words Obamaniacs do not want to hear, especially not from another lib. Barack Obama is an empty suit: The presidents problem isnt that he is too visible; its the lack of content in what he says when he keeps showing up on the tube. Obama can seem a mite too impressed with his own aura, as if his presence on the stage is the Answer. There is, at times, a self-referential (even self-reverential) tone in his big speeches. They are heavily salted with the words I and my. (He used the former 11 times in the first few paragraphs of his address to the U.N. last week.) Obama is a historic figure, but that is the beginning, not the end, of the story.
He’s a long legged mack daddy and son of Satan !
Hussein is such a LOSER -
A typical vice of American politics is the avoidance of saying anything real on real issues. - Theodore Roosevelt
Is this the second liberal drive by to do this this week? Anybody know the name of the first?

wasn’t it Richard Cohen in the Washington Post?
Worst “acting” President EVER.
Mucho Gracias.
Hollywood!
Richard Cohen. Not a real way out lefty.
Checking for pork in the treetops ...
Very FUNNY!!!
well if the suit fits.....
He was elected because he was cute, black, and polite. He presented himself, private school in Hawaii upbringing notwithstanding, as the stereotypical well-behaved, humble, underprivileged youth deserving special consideration, and he got it.
You done good!
I don't know why everyone keeps saying this as it it were some kind of positive attribute. Obama is "historic" only in the sense of being historically unqualified for the office he holds, and as a result will turn in a historically poor performance and book a historically bad record. I mean, geez, you could say that Jimmy Carter was a historic figure, historically bad. Richard Nixon was also historic, first President to be forced to resign. Bill Clinton and Andrew Johnson were also historic figures, the only Presidents to be impeached.
Obama needs to be more concerned with righting the ship and getting something positive done than any kind of "historic" judgment. A good first step would be to ditch the first-person pronoun he is so fond of in his multitudinous speeches.
Goldberg had it right! More Cowbell!
Put that in everyone's living room 24/7 and see what happens.
People of average intelligence came to this conclusion during the early primary campaigning of 2011, Howard. You're slow by about two years.
He was elected because he was cute, black, and polite.
I don’t think it’s even that(although I agree it’s strange, I’m betting that on the BC it states him as Caucasian). There is something that will cause more people to gag than that

Good God, Hell has indeed frozen over. I am thinking the story I heard last night about the Mayor of Hell, a Mr. Satan, petitioning the 2010 Winter Olympic committee, to have some events moved to the town of Hades, may be true.
[Worst acting President EVER.]
Heck, Martin Sheen was a better “acting” President!
He’s a punk.
You mean the Richard Cohen who had an affair with Peter Jennings wife a number of years ago?
About a year too late figuring that one out.
Is it possible that the MSM is beginning to turn on “the one”?
Obama is the pious lecturer many libs are in their own lives. He’s that Subaru you always see on the highway plastered with lib decals. The better to lecture other motorists on how to live their lives. At least you can pass the Subaru. Obama appears to want to be a virtual presence on the tv. As of now whenever President Subaru comes on the tv, I can turn to another channel. But for how much longer?
Yep. Only a moderate would have a heterosexual affair.
"The President himself is no more than a representative of public opinion at the time of his election; and as public opinion is subject to great and frequent fluctuations, he must accommodate his policy to them; or the people will speedily give him a successor; or either House of Congress will effectually control his power. It is thus, and in no other sense that the Constitution of the United States is democratic - for the government of our country, instead of a Democracy the most simple, is the most complicated government on the face of the globe." - John Quincy Adams
Getting elected is one thing. Maintaining the confidence of the voters is another. The first order of business, under the provisions of the Founders' Constitution, is to change the makeup of the Congress, so that the "House(s) of Congress will effectually control his power" until the next Presidential election. That needs to be happening now.
By those mechanisms, "the most complicated government on the face of the globe," this Republic, will work in the way it was supposed to work to correct misperceptions and mistakes that endanger the people's liberty.
A basic trait of Narcissists per Dr. Sam Vaknin. He says the normal person uses "I, me, & mine" and average of 10-15% of the time. Obama on the other hand uses those terms 70-75% of the time, even when it's clearly not called for about the topic of which he is speaking.
Surprising to hear about this appearing in Newsweek.
The latest cover issue though is rabid murdering leftism.
