And how much did this buckling cost the taxpayers? What is the final cost? Obama should have a healthy co-pay for his failed sales pitch.
Who fed Chuck Todd that load of manure?
Now the White House is blaming Chicago for the failure to get the Olympic Games. What loyalty!
Can we now get back to something serious at the White House?
Wow, our mac daddy can’t say no to local pols even when he is pres-dent. Scary.
MSNBC is incapable of anything other than making up stories to help Obama.
Good to know the CinC buckles under pressure this easily.
Yeah, like when is the next shipment of Kobi beef and Maine lobsters are due at the WH?
Throwing Chicago under the bus.
I heard someone say that if anyone from Chicago asks for any favors from Obama they can get in the back of the line.
This POS never takes any responsibility for his own failures.
yup... not his fault! mmmm mmmm mmm
So, what is worse, the image of a President who, 9 months into making the world love us again, loses the olympics even though he made a personal appeal?
Or a President who, against his better judgment, and spending millions of taxpayer dollars, does something he didn’t want to do because his friends forced him to.
What else are his friends forcing him to do that isn’t in the country’s interest?
If this went against the president’s instincts, then why in the heck did he go?????
Don’t we want presidents who resist pressures to do things that they shouldn’t do??????
What does this say about Obama’s leadership, management style, etc. that he can be so easily swayed to do something like lobby for the Olympics?
And I hope somebody on talk radio or MSM talks about how Obama spends more time talking to the Olympic committee than he spends talking with his Afghanistan field generals. This is an interesting comparison.
“Who fed Chuck Todd that load of manure?”
Chuck Todd is a load of manure.
He is the most powerful man on the planet is he not?
Well cross that out. I guess Daley is. Zero is not going to walk away from this with a casual flip
His Chicago pals are now stuck servicing the mortgages on all that slum real estate they’d planned to palm off on the taxpayers.
The Leader of the Free World, Barack “Uncle Buck(le)” Obama.
Wonder what his “instincts” are about a nuclear-armed Iran?
Chuck Todd saying President Obama went “against his instincts” in going to Copenhagen to lobby for Chicago to get the 2016 Olympics. Todd said the White House’s instincts were to “not buckle under the pressure” from Chicago friends to get personally involved in lobbying for Chicago to get the Olympics.
Now - Is this statement not a great example of how they make
things up???? How in the world does Chuck now what Bozo’s
instincts are? Instincts are internally felt! Unless Bozo
called him and told him how he felt. Not...
The problem with the liberal media is that they think we are all as stupid as they are.
$904,000 in taking Air Force One & Two to Copenhagen.
“Todd said the White House’s instincts were to “not buckle under the pressure” from Chicago friends to get personally involved in lobbying for Chicago to get the Olympics.”
Chuckie, and MSNBC, those Chicago friends drew straws and some of them went with the O’s and the big O, Oprah. Valerie Jarrett among them. Those with the short straws waited in the West Wing for their personal payday. Rahm, Axelrod, etc.
Seems that Chicago unemployment just went up.
That’s not counting security, staff, prior placement, support vehicles, military protection, man-hours, et al!
