Here is video of Neil Cavuto interviewing Don Imus on the eve of his beginning a new show with the Fox Business Channel. Imus opens his new show on Monday, October 5.
Imus commented on Glenn Beck. He says he loves Glenn Beck, but joked "it doesn't end well."
On David Letterman, Imus said Letterman is a "mean-spirited jerk," "a punk" who should not have treated what he did in such a "frivolous" manner.
Imus said he does not think President Obama "knows what he is doing," but he does not dislike him. Imus said Obama reminds him of Jimmy Carter, although he said he's nicer than Carter, who is a "mean-spirited weasel."
Imus said Sarah Palin is a nice person, but thinks it is a "horrifying thought" that she could be the GOP Nominee in 2012. Imus said she is a "dope" who governed a state with "90 people and a polar bear."
On Dan Rather, Imus said he is "going crazy" and that he should "put on a sweater" and retire to Florida. . . . (VIDEO)
Maybe its me, but I really don’t see the logic behind giving Don Imus a business show. His pseudo-political show was barely interesting and many times it was nauseating (especially when he stroked politicians and pundits). But, whatever....
Typical Imus. Mildly amusing occasionally but mostly liberal talking points sanded down enough to take the edge off.
Imus is the original shock jock. Literally.
He throws acid on everybody.
At least he’ll be better than Joe and Mika who owe their entire morning and radio career to Imus’ firing. They even use his format.
He’ll attract much better guests, that’s for sure.
No one is more surprised than Imus that people still pay him money to do what he does.
No... It’s not just you. I have no idea no idea why Fox is allowing Assmus to hitch his putrid wagon to their success. I saw the interview and want to bash his face in when he attacked Sarah Palin as being stupid and his hero McCain was wrong for picking her. Totally IGNORES the fact that if not for her we may have seen one of the greatest landslides in presidential history.
I couldn’t stand him before and what I saw in the interview proved to me I was 100 percent right.

He is a "mumbling idiot" rather than the more common "bumbling" variety.
