Danish News: Obama's Arrogance Turned Off IOC
Gateway Pundit ^ | Oct. 3, 2009 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 10/03/2009 6:16:41 PM PDT by Free ThinkerNY

Now we know why Chicago lost out-- The IOC did not appreciate Obama's arrogance.

Don Surber posted the translation from the Danish website Berlingske:

“The fact that Barack Obama came, could not do it. I think he lacked emotion, it seemed too empty and business-like. When Tony Blair promoted London he was around three days to lobby and talk to people. You can not just come with the train one day and try to affect everything. People have felt that it was a lack of respect for the Olympics and sport in general. I think people felt it was too business-like to get into the way we have now seen it many times, and you would have feelings back.”

Hans Bonde, professor of sport history at the University of Copenhagen, told the newspaper: “Here come the media favorite Obama just before the deadline and made showoff. He clearly won the battle in the media, but it turned out indeed to be indifferent. IOC members did not feel important, and they were indeed reduced to spectators and not players."

He is more arrogant than Bill Clinton, and that is saying something. The most arrogant President. The most liberal President. The most naive President. The most thin-skinned President. He really doesn’t understand why Americans are buying his health care pitch. He really doesn’t get why the Olympic committee did not buy his pitch for Chicago. He really thinks he is all that.

He has no respect for his own country, let alone the Olympics.

>> He really doesn’t understand why Americans are buying his health care pitch. He really doesn’t get why the Olympic committee did not buy his pitch for Chicago. He really thinks he is all that.

He lives in a media echo chamber, so it’s unlikely he’ll ever get the message.

Most of the country does, however. It’s disgusting to read the media puff pieces on Bambi and MeMe — but if you read the comments that follow the article, it’s clear that he’s not fooling anyone.

All the talk of some right-wing nut harming him is silly. It won’t be required. He is the one we’ve been waiting for — he’s going to ruin his own self.

“Here come the media favorite Obama just before the deadline and made showoff. He clearly won the battle in the media, but it turned out indeed to be indifferent. IOC members did not feel important, and they were indeed reduced to spectators and not players."...pretty well sums it up - now the American people are in the same boat as Obama prepares to push through "Healthcare reform" that two-thirds of us don't want - the IOC is luckey - all they had to put up with was one day of O - we're stuck with him for another three years......

I heard this once on ABC news on the hour yesterday at 2 PM:

"One of the voting members said Obama gave the worst boring presentation of all". There was no indication who it was.

Of course, haven't heard that one since.

Exactly.

The IOC was sending the message that Zero ain’t jack-$h!t to them, and that Chicago would have had a better chance if he’d have stayed his lightweight azz at home.

I said so on another thread. We don’t need to waste political capital investigating this failure. The MSM (even in Chicago with its wall-to-wall coverage) stated that the problem was the whole arrogance of Obama/Oprah/Michelle/Daley.

DUmmie FUnnies 10-03-09 ("Obama (That Bumblin' Clown)" Loses Olympics for Chicago)

OBAMA (THAT BUMBLIN' CLOWN)
Tune: "Chicago (That Toddlin' Town)"

Obama, Obama, that bumblin' clown
Obama, Obama, he will fumble around--and flub it
Bet your teleprompter he'll lose the games for Chicago, Chicago
So bad that Oprah Winfrey will have to frown

Olympics are slim picks, when Barry's your shill
You do things like lose out to Brazil
He had the task, Chicago to sell
I had to laugh, he came with Michelle
O Chicago, Obama let you down!

Obama, Obama, that bumblin' clown
Obama, Obama, he'll fumble around--and flub it
Bet your teleprompter he'll lose the games for Chicago, Chicago
So bad that Oprah Winfrey will have to frown

Olympics are slim picks, when Barry's your shill
You do things like losing out to Brazil--still
He had the task, Chicago to sell
I had to laugh when he came with Michelle
O Chicago, Obama--Obama sure let you down!

Photobucket From “Rules for Radicals” by Obama’s hero, Saul Alinsky:

RULE 5: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." There is no defense. It's irrational. It's infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.”

QUESTIONS?

MicHELLe’s my memories, my father, my neighborhood, my glorification, my dream as a poor kid as she stood there in her big bowed yellow ridiculous dress, was enough to make anybody barf...

O’bozo getting up there and trying to sell bringing the games to Chicago for DIVERSITY, when the whole world is freaking diverse, and then touting his being able to march in the with games in his second term was enough to make one ill. Can you imagine these two narcissists marching out in front of all the wonderful athletes from all over the world? The olympic games are NOT designed for the glorification of the Obozonation! It’s for the ATHLETES! Who were not ONCE mentioned in either one of their presentations!

It was all about me, me, me, me, mEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeEEEEEEeeeeeeeeee! PUKE!

They certainly didn’t have a top-notch translator, because some of it is incoherent.

The fact they were eliminated 1st was a deliberate message to the still airborne Obama.

Thank God.

Little more than a cardboard cutout - and he used his teleprompters!

He read his speech - and it was all about me me me me me.

So was hers.

These two are so far 'under their pay grade.

They're playing with the big boys now, and they are fooling no one - but themselves.

Sad day for America.
