2012 presidential campaign, which begins sometime in Nov.-Dec. 2011: During the 2012 presidential campaign, I think that Obama will be asked over and over again by voters and the press if Ayers helped Obama write his book.
That is, I don't think Obama will get a free pass this second time around, and so Obama won't get away with repeating his story that Ayers was just another person in the neighborhood.
In fact, if I were an experienced investigative reporter, I would confront Obama during the 2012 presidential campaign with this question:
"Obama, how much did you pay Ayers to help you write your book?"
Good point. I want the SOB nailed on it. I notice this morning the American Thinker is running with the story.
He needs to be questioned hard about his associations with those guys in the neighborhood.
I believe that Ayers will deny the accusation. He will come out with a statement saying that he was kidding, “pulling [Anne Leary’s] leg”.

Sort of ironic that this thread appears on the same morning as a thread about a web page that asks if Glenn Beck will deny accusations that he is a rapist and murderer.

I guess that’s the game. Make an accusation and if the accusation is not answered it must be true.
I read the Ayers article and he seems to be tweaking the author.
