Major hospital, private practices, and large health group are not giving the swine vaccine as originally planned because of the red tape involved with the government.
The staffer told me that they were informed that the major amount of paperwork involved with administering the vaccine and the burdensome government follow up required for positive results caused such a burden that they are unable to provide the vaccine.
Here's a glimpse of what life will be like with Obamacare.
“Here’s a glimpse of what life will be like with Obamacare.”
And in Chicago no less...good grief.
Also, Keep up with other H1N1 update stories on this thread: H1N1 flu victim collapsed on way to hospital [Latest H1N1 updates downthread] thanks to DvdMom and others.
That’s nothing. Here where I live they are giving Swine flu to all of the kids in Public Schools, but the parochial shool kids will have to pay for theirs.
Separation of Church and State I suppose.
Sounds pretty stupid to me.
If you pay taxes to the the public schools and this vaccine is paid in part or whole, directly or indirectly, with tax revenue, then you are legally entitled to the public services provided. Private school students save public school systems a fortune by paying into the services and not using the resources. But, they are entitled to any public service that is funded by the tax dollar.
Yup hints of things to come
Thanks for the ping!
Talked to Walgreens pharmacy - they say it is unlikely they will be providing the H1N1 vaccine. “It looks like we weren’t chosen to carry it.”
