Here is video of Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, a rising star (which I measure from the fact that the Left hates her almost as much as Palin) in the conservative movement, being interviewed by a perplexed and frustrated Larry King. Bachmann points out that Americans, in order to "get the truth," are turning to Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck. King repeatedly interrupts her, attempting to minimize the size of their respective audiences, incorrectly stating that they capture "only 2% of the population."

Is Larry King still alive? I watched the video, and it’s difficult to tell. There is no doubt his brain is already dead.

Just once, when Larry King asks an evangelical, “So, _____ (fill in the blank — Dr. Graham, Dr. Falwell, whatever), am I going to hell?”
Just once I want the interviewee to say, “Yes, Larry, you are going to hell.”
What is his obsession with that? I think it is to marginalize the evangelical proponent in the eyes of the rest of the country.

I said a long time ago King was a low-grade moron and is only good at interrupting people to try and show he’s not. He must have something on CNN that they keep such a shmuck on the payroll.

I don’t know where he gets that 2% figure. Up to 20 million people a week listen to Rush Limbaugh. I imagine the audience for conservative radio and TV is approaching 30 million. That’s a significant portion of the voting-age population and it’s growing. I think more and more people are alarmed at what’s happening to this country and tuning into Rush, Sean, and Glenn to get their perspective, and that audience is increasing ins size.
