The New York Times has an interesting update on the never-ending spat between the White House and The Fox News Channel (FNC).
The White House communications director, Anita Dunn, said this weekend, ”We’re going to treat them the way we would treat an opponent. As they are undertaking a war against Barack Obama and the White House, we don’t need to pretend that this is the way that legitimate news organizations behave.”
Wow. Is there any wonder why Chris Wallace said, after being rebuffed during Obama’s news show extravaganzathon a few weeks ago, that Obama’s administration was ”the biggest bunch of crybabies I have dealt with in my 30 years in Washington”? I mean, COME ON. You cannot, with any credibility, say that, for example, MSNBC is “a legitimate news organization” and then claim otherwise about FNC. You just can’t.
Here’s the thing. Whenever the White House gets its panties in a twist over FNC, the FNC ratings skyrocket. So it’s not like FNC is freaking out over this or anything. In fact, I would submit to you that they’re kind of reveling in it a little, which, honestly, they SHOULD. Obama’s giving them all sorts of clout and power by claiming that they have none, and he looks foolish to avoid them, and by extension the millions of Americans who watch them.
It’s kind of cutting off your foot to spite your face, really. If you want to change the minds or convince or sway people to believe in you and your policies, isn’t it kind of a good idea to use a platform which REACHES the people you’re trying to sway?
FNC’s ratings are skyrocketing because people don’t take kindly to being lied to on the other news channels.

Who would plaster his Twitter page with police mug shot photos of convicted cop-killer Assata Shakur? Fox News contributor Marc Lamont Hill did. At least until David Horowitz and Accuracy in Media took notice and wrote about it. Now the page features photos of boxing great Muhammad Ali. Hill's MySpace page is also gone.
There are other changes as well. The tributes to Shakur and black racist Khallid Muhammad, known as "America's Black Hitler," have disappeared from his web pages. The articles were saved, however, and can be found here.

Muhammad referred to Jews as people whose ancestors were cannibals who “crawled around on all fours in the caves and hills of Europe” and “slept in [their] urination and [their] defecation... for 2,000 years.” He characterized contemporary Jews as “slumlords in the black community” who were busy “sucking our [blacks’] blood on a daily and consistent basis.” He said that Jews had provoked Adolf Hitler when they “went in there, in Germany, the way they do everywhere they go, and they supplanted, they usurped.” And he declared that blacks, in retribution against South African whites of the apartheid era, should “kill the women,…kill the children,…kill the babies,…kill the blind,…kill the crippled,…kill the faggot,…kill the lesbian,...kill them all.”
On subsequent occasions, Muhammad praised Colin Ferguson, a black man who had shot some twenty white and Asian commuters (killing six of them) in a racially motivated 1993 shooting spree aboard a New York commuter train, as a hero who possessed the courage to “just kill every goddamn cracker that he saw.” He advised blacks that “there are no good crackers, and if you find one, kill him before he changes.” He told a Donahue television audience in May 1994 that “[t]here is a little bit of Hitler in all white people.” He characterized black conservatives as “boot-licking, butt-licking, bamboozled, half-baked, half-fried, sissified, punkified, pasteurized, homogenized Nigger[s].” On May 21, 1997 he told a San Francisco State University audience that the "white man" is "a no-good bastard. He's not a devil, the white man is the Devil." In September 1997 he said, "If you say you're white, goddammit I'm against you. If you're a Jew, I'm against you. Whatever the hell you want to call yourself, I'm against you."

From the Harlem Film Festival, a pro communist revolution propaganda film on the story of Joanne Chesimard (my words). She (Assata Shakur/Joanne Chesimard) is the godmother of late rapper Tupac Shakur (see Section 5 of my FR Home page: the Brinks robbery and triple murder). Tupac's stepfather (Joanne's brother) was deeply involved in that murder-robbery in which two police officers and one Brinks security guard were gunned down in cold blood.
ASSATA (aka Joanne Chesimard)
Perhaps the most wanted woman in the history of the United States.
Assata Shakur/Joanne Chesimard, was questionably arrested and sentenced for killing a cop in the infamous 1973 New Jersey Turnpike shootup of a car carrying Shakur, and two other Black Panthers, one of whom was also killed. Assata received three bullets in the attack. Sentenced to Life, she escaped in 1979 from maximum security prison in NJ to eventually emerge in Cuba under Fidel Castro’s protection as a political exile. Assata’s [Joanne Chesimard] writings and presence in Cuba have brought her a huge following as an icon, a heroine – the Che Guevera of Black Liberation – a freedom fighter to thousands of young peoples throughout the world. The State of New Jersey still holds a million dollar bounty on her head–wanted dead or alive!

The Coward in Chief is afraid of everything that he can’t control.
The WH (Emanuel, Axelrod, Jarrett and ultimately the ONE, 0bama) are afraid of Fox News Channel because they are fearless in presenting news and commentary. They don’t take notes from the WH and they tell the truth. FNC is kicking the butts of the other cable networks (CNN would be really, really low if not for the free TV’s blanketing airports) in terms of ratings because they report the news and do it truthfully and are not afraid to have on-air debates with representatives from both sides, even blowhard communists like Dr. Lamont Hill.
FNC rarely has only one side to a story. All the other news media paint pictures with their liberal bias hiden by their agenda. FNC really is Fair and Balanced.
An honest person would want this, but if you are lying you don't want exposure. Therefore the lying Obama is smart to avoid Fox news. He is not so smart to condemn them because it draws attention to them. So I guess what I am saying is Obama is ultimately a dumb liar.

If a media outlet is properly being a watchdog for Americans and keeping the people informed of what our obese government is doing, all politicians would hate all media.
Becuase there is only one that is digging and reporting while the rest do their tricks and eat their treats, viewers are going to gravitate to what they see as “in their best interest.” Our best interest is knowing what is going on in government and how it is affecting the country.
Imagine the psychotic reaction of the Hussein administration if FOX were actually a CONSERVATIVE network!

That is an hillarious cartoon, and to be so accurate to boot is devastating.
They are not trying to 'reach' their people to 'sway' them. They already know they have their minds because the have their paychecks. What they are desperately trying to do is to quash the truth from the one source they know they don't control - FOX.....If they could, they would execute every last one of its employees.

The rats will never get over the fact that they no longer have a monopoly on the selection and spin of the daily news through their newsrooms at ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, the NY Times, and the Washington Post, etc., the way they did for decades.
As they say, “If you want to anger a conservative, tell him a lie. If you want to anger a liberal socialist, tell him the truth.” As they also say, “Shine the light of truth on liberal socialists and they scatter like cockroaches.” It is interesting that this time the cockroaches have decided to mobilize. It’s a war Ubama cannot win, because the truth will (almost) always prevail.
It will be fair game to go after Fox, now. If they can be demonized enough, the 0bama admin will be able to jail them all on trumped-up “hate speech” charges and nobody in MSM will complain, and so most people will go along.
