Rangel was a Korean War hero, literally, medals for valor and all. Look what that corrupt NY Democratic machine can do to a person. It’s sad.
Some years ago C-SPAN had a holiday time filler, where it interviewed people in DC about what was special to them about Thanksgiving Day. Rangel's answer was "Nothing." He went on to add that he had spent Thanksgiving Day of 1950 battling the cold, and the Chinese, near the Chosin Reservoir, and that he promised the Lord that if he ever got home, he would be thankful every day.
As much as I despise the corrupt old politician Charlie Rangel, I respect, and honor, the young soldier Charlie Rangel.
I will believe Rangel’s leaving when I see it. He knows where too many bodies are buried!
Reporters should continue to ask Rangel questions and news stations should continue to roll the video and show it on tv so that people can get a clue as to what a piece of pond scum this “elected official” really is.
Rangel needs a reality check. . . . And a one way ticket out of Congress.
