Obama’s Resolution to Stifle Free Speech on Islam

On October 1, 2009, the Obama administration in conjunction with the Egyptian government, introduced an anti-free speech measure to the United Nation’s Human Rights Council (HRC). It was adopted the next day without a vote.

Earlier this year, when the United States sought a seat on the HRC, it was a controversial decision. Many who found the HRC neither credible nor useful, opposed the move. Yet, others were more optimistic that America could change the HRC from within. Perhaps the U.S. could spur debate stemming from its opposition to China, Sudan, Libya, Cuba, and Saudi Arabia on critical human rights votes.

The draft resolution, misleadingly titled “Freedom of Opinion and Expression”...attempts to construe this as an international human rights law and obligation.

***But even under a strict construction, when the US signs a treaty, the treaty becomes binding on the US.***

And when that treaty violates part of the Constitution? What then? Seems to me like the Constitution should win that battle.

Posted this to a thread a few weeks ago (I think it was on the Orchid raid).

Article VI:
This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

Some of our more terrible laws come from the binding that results from these treaties, because of the liberal interpretation that these treaties not only usurp our laws, but can be made to usurp our inherent rights as well.

Here's a perfect example:

This is going to become the liberal method of choice for dismantling our rights, now that we're gettn' so cozy with all the despots at the UN.

So....I guess this means that my opinion that:
"the complete glassification of the first 10 inches of the entire moslem world is the only solution with the survival-of-freedom as an outcome"
is now considered a hanging offense?

This resolution appears to stem from, and constitute a step toward, the Organization of Islamic Conference’s resolution to “combat defamation of religions”.

anything he signs with another country, G20, UN works against our freedoms. He has no alliance to US

From: Is Obama's Stance On Iran Based Upon His Faith?

For many people, it is becoming obvious that once more America is leading the West, by setting a new trend: America is the first Western nation under the rulership of a Muslim and more specifically a Sunni Muslim. Outside the fact that Obama's father was Muslim, a Somalie black Arab, to be specific and his step father was Muslim, a Pakistani Sunni, and the fact that he studied as a child in Madras, there can be no doubt that he is a Muslim. It is Islamic Shari law that any child or bride of a Muslim is thus themselves a Muslim, which is why Solemn Rushdie is condemned as a apostate or heretic Muslim, even though he has never practiced the faith: but his parents did.

Further, it is state in the Koran, that apostates must be put to death, and if Obama had left the faith, surely some one out there, by now, would be issuing Fatawas against him. Since there is an absolute lack of such, it can only be concluded that there is no need for them, due to the fact of his faith. link>
