Carter shows his ethics: hires lawyer from Obama firm, as clerk Oct. 1st

In a stunning blow to the impartiality of the American Judicial system, Federal Judge David O. Carter, who is hearing the case Barnett vs. Obama, in the Central District, Southern Division Court at Santa Ana, California, has just hired a lawyer who works for a law firm where Robert F. Bauer, one of Obama’s top lawyers is a partner. And that, just days before the Oct. 5, 2009 hearing on the Motion to Dismiss, in which his demeanor radically changed, according to Dr. Orly Taitz, esq., lead counsel for the Plaintiffs.

Siddharth Velamoor is the lawyer chosen by Carter to serve as one of his two official clerks, from Oct. 1, 2009, till Sept. 30, 2010, according to Wikipedia. Velamoor is listed as an associate with Perkins Coie, LLP’s office in Seattle, Washington. It is not clear if he has broken his relations with the firm.

C, is a partner of Perkins Coie, LLP’s office in Washington, D.C.. His bio at the company identifies him as holding the Chair of the Political Law group at the firm; general counsel to Obama’s Campaign for America and general counsel to the Democratic National Committee.

Mr. Bauer’s wife is none other than Anita Dunn, the Whitehouse Communication’s Director.

HERE IS THE REAL STORY:

"Mr. Bauer’s wife is none other than Anita Dunn, the Whitehouse Communication’s Director."

"Robert F. Bauer, one of Obama’s top lawyers "

Bauer if I recall is the one fighting to keep any and all information about Obama passed out of reach of anyone.

Uh, yep...curiouser and curiouser...

It’s almost unimaginable that a jurist who has avoided any hint of impropriety while serving on the bench would suddenly step on his crank like this, unless something else is the driver... Just sayin’.

If this was a damn John Grisham novel it wouldn’t be believable.

How disgusting. Every one of these corrupt bastards needs to go down in flames. (not a physical threat for those stalking FR)

Judge Carter has likely received an offer he can’t refuse. This is Chicago, now. You can’t get out of Chicago.

Did you read the comments from "Jack"?

Jack
Quo Warranto may be a red herring.

Orly’s case vis a vis Alan Keyes is a tort case in fraud against Candidate Obama — and the US Govt. is not a party to THAT case, nor does Alan Keyes necessarily seek removal of Obama, just recovery for the fraud!

Once Candidate Obama is shown (proven) in Judge Carter’s court to be a fraud, Congress will make Obama leave office under tremendous political pressure to do just that (and then, of course, the Congress votes on/selects Hillary Clinton as the President — who will then be the best Democrat to face Sarah Palin in 2012).

I’m assuming Hillary is aware this is coming; and remember that Judge Carter was a Bill Clinton appointee.

And this one:

Jack
Something else MAY be going on here, that is, by Judge Carter’s hiring of Siddharth Velamoor (from the law firm representing and closely connected to Obama) as his law clerk 4 days before the Oct 5 hearing.

It’s simply too obvious. I’m assuming Judge Carter would surely know this would be relevant — and be grounds for Motion for Recusal by Orly of Judge Carter

Interesting...

Just remember to always call it the “Court system” and not the “Justice system.”

I had a lawyer recently tell me that he refuses to use the phrase “Justice center” when referring to a local courthouse, even though that’s the actual name of the place. True justice is blind, but courthouses and the employees thereof always have their eyes open to the ever-changing dynamics of things. Bribes and quid pro quo are regular occurrences. I’m afraid Judge Carter may have fallen victim to the endemic corruption in the system or may be getting pressured into a situation by hands operating behind the scenes.

The one thing we know for sure is that justice won’t prevail unless and until Obama releases proof of whether or not he’s a NBC.

My faith in our judicial system is at an all-time low these days. My faith in Congress and the executive branch doesn’t even exist any more.

FYI: ...when I found out clinton put him on the bench I was very concerned and mentioned it on FR. I was told to give the guy a break because he is a Marine. I respect all who have served our country...but even some of them may be unethical. Will read more of the thread before I make further comments. :-p

This is not about ethics, it is about intimidation of a judge.

Judge Carter has simply gotten a reminder of his mortality. We knew it would happen.
