A prelude to what will happen under Obamacare. What a horrible day this started out to be. We woke our kids up at their usual time on a school day to get in line for H1N1 vaccinations. The Oakland County Health Department got the word out this week that vaccinations will be occurring in 2 places. The nearest to us was Clarkston Jr High School. Initially we went to the high school because that's what the email told us. We rolled in at 8:15am for a clinic that started at 9. Nobody there except people leaving the building saying that it was at the Junior HS down the road. And here I thought that not many people showed up. Unfortunately, the high school looked like a scene from a new ride at a premier amusement park that just opened. Literally thousands of people there. We were told that the line is 5-7 hours long! Looks like one is more likely to catch something from being around that huge pool of people.
Weren't you supposed to complete that order yesterday?

I plan on skipping that whole H1N1 thingie altogether (including the questionable vaccination).
Lines were that long in 2005 when there was a vaccine shortage due to contamination. Doesn’t anyone remember photos of seniors waiting out in cold rainy weather at clinics and pharmacies?

Seriously, you have my sympathy. I don’t have kids so I didn’t have to make that choice.

Almost everyone around here has had H1N1..My little Granddaughter had a touch of pneumonia with hers..Scared us!
She is much better now, though. Most kids seem to get over it in four to seven days.
It would be a cold day in you know where before I’d stand in line to get a stupid shot. I’ve never gotten the flu shot and never had the flu. I’m 52 and have a form of lung disease so I could probably get it without any problem but I think I’ll take my chances.
What a bunch of pansies this country has become.
We sure don’t want them.
All Obama is doing is creating another crisis and the artificail need for GOVERNMENT HEALTH CARE.
That’s one picture that needs to get out there.
Or how about Swine flu? Swine flu was supposed to be a “pandemic”.
This is a charade by Obama to create a CRISIS. There is no evidence that this is either an epidemic. It's just a flu. He wants to get YOU to support GOVERNMENT HEALTH CARE. It's a farce.
