Peter Gadiel's son James was killed when Muslim murderers crashed a plane into the North Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. In memory of that horrible day, James' hometown of Kent, Connecticut wants to erect a plaque memorializing James' death but there has come a snag to the city's plans: James' father, Peter.
Peter Gadiel wants a specific line added to the plaque making the city fathers squeamish. He wants the plaque to say, "murdered by Muslim terrorists."
Town officials have been scandalized by this all too trenchant line that Peter wants added to the memorial to his son. Kent's city officials are playing the can't-we-all-get-along game.
"We perceive ourselves as a very warm, loving town," said Ruth Epstein, a Kent selectman and one of two town leaders to vote the plaque down. "To disparage any one ethnic group is just against everything that we stand for here."Idiots. I'll bet if you asked all the three thousand Americans murdered by those Muslim terrorists that dark September 11th day they each would have said that they felt that they all lived in "very warm and loving" towns.

I would donate money to a fund for something greater than a plaque for the father to state what he wants to state, if the townfolk won’t let him.
The truth does not disparage anyone unless they have earned it.
If the people in Kent aren't alll weak sisters and boobs they'll run this moron out of town on a rail. This statement in response to the father's request is simply disgusting!
Political correctness will be our undoing.
Who is payng for it? Who’s son is it? Screw all the rest of the people. This father can do what he wants to.
Personally, I don’t recognize islam as a religion...you know, because of the “hate Christians and Jews” stuff in their un-Holy Book and the fact that their prophet was a pedophile...but that’s just me....and millions of other smart people....
You are absolutely correct! To hell with offending someone! Stand up and speak your mind. If the truth hurts, then so be it! We all need to speak up now before it’s too late!
