These vile people know they're Americans, right?
One of the 20 finalists in health care video contest run by Barack Obamas campaign arm features a mural of an America flag splattered with health care graffiti until its covered completely by black paint.
I know, I know, patriotism is SO uncool amongst the Latter Day Patchoulis but can't they at least pretend not to despise all things American for marketing purposes? Apparently not, so deep is their revulsion for any American symbol that us common folk hold dear.
According to the Organizing for American Web site, the 20 finalists in the Health Reform Video Challenge were chosen by a panel of qualified Democratic National Committee employee judges.

If somebody burned the rainbow flag, would it be free speech or a hate crime? I wonder what the DNC’s position on that would be.
Difficult issue, as I see it.
If you’re trying to make a point, you use an image of the American flag. You even change it to show a specific transgression.
For example, the American flag burning at the hands of Obama and his supporters in a cartoon. What’s the real offense? Was a flag really desecrated, or was the cartoon showing the desecration by Obama?
I’ve seen A LOT of modified images/cartoons of the The Constitution of the United States, some burning, some torn, some with footprints across it. All of these were anti-Obama modifications. Was the intent to desecrate The Constitution, or to show its desecration at the hands of others?
I think you can use the American flag artistically to prove a point, even if it shows that flag being desecrated, without actually desecrating the flag. I suppose it’s all in the intent (and the execution).
I think the commercial is the perfect metaphor for the desires of the democrat party...obliterate the US and replace it with their own construct. In one short video liberals illustrate their desire to destroy America. Now how could they more perfectly represent their views?!
