REP. MICHELE BACHMANN: "2,000 PAGES OF MANDATES, TAXES, AND BUREAUCRACY"
THE FREEDOM POST ^ | October 30, 2009 | Congresswoman Michele Bachmann

This morning, House Democrats held a press conference to unveil their health care reform bill, which they claim will expand coverage for all and decrease costs. Sounds good, but once you peel away the “feel good” rhetoric, there’s nothing to be excited about. This 2,000-page bill includes a job-killing employer mandate, an individual mandate that requires Washington bureaucrats to define what kind of coverage is acceptable, burdensome tax increases, Medicare cuts, and a huge expansion of Medicaid that will break already strained state budgets.

If any thing close to this gets passed we're cooked. Princess Pelosi thinks she's a dominatrix. In fact, she really does remind me alot of Cloris Leachman who played Nurse Diesel in High Anxiety. The chains of socialism have been pretty evident from the start of this administration. They've done there damnedest to hide them and confuse the American people. This health care debate is no different. They are trying to wear every one down with proposal after proposal. 2000 pages!? A complete take over of 1/6 of GDP when effectively only 12-15 million Americans do not have health care and can not afford to purchase it!? We could easily provide coverage for these individuals for 1/100 of the cost of this bill. Every one on this site knows that this is not just about health care, its about control. Control over our very lives. I say we send Nurse Diesel and her minions a message they won't soon forget.

Rep. Bachmann should consider this alternative on the state level. If the state legislatures refuse to act, then

We The People through a Ballot Initiative Can PROTECT ourselves NOW
