The incessant stream of lies out of the Democrats is amazing. This is the New York Times flat out saying that Pelosi tried to pull one over on us on the cost of her bill.
Throughout Thursday, news accounts, including our own, focused on $894 billion, the total cost given out by aides to the House speaker, Nancy Pelosi, before the official cost analysis was released by the Congressional Budget Office.But a closer look at the budget office report suggests that the number everyone should have reported was $1.055 trillion, which is the gross cost of the insurance coverage provisions in the bill before taking account of certain new revenues, including penalties by individuals and employers who fail to meet new insurance requirements in the bill.
The $894 billion figure that was initially seized on was not chosen at random. It is featured prominently in the budget office report as the net cost of the insurance coverage provisions in the bill. But the net coverage cost is not the number that lawmakers, the news media and other experts and analysts have focused on in recent months.

I have to say that Democrat and Republican arguments about how much this might cost remind me of the old story supposedly told by Winston Churchill about a dinner conversation:

Some of the people in the MSM realize that they are not part of the elite, who will be exempted from the dictates of Obamacare, and they are beginning to see the light.
Charles Krauthammer, on NRO, the Corner, had a good article, explaining the cost of Obamacare and what he called the black hole in the center of it. The bill that Pelosi turned over to the CBO includes drastic cuts in payments to doctors and hospitals that will account for a large part of the cost savings. In a separate bill, all the cost cutting is rescinded, but it’s in a separate bill, so the CBO was forced to do the accounting with the cost cuts in place. The bill is a sham.
Wow, you know the Dims are in trouble when even the New York Slimes can’t come up with an excuse.

I think that there could be a couple of things going on here.
First, some of the members of the MSM are waking up to the fact that they, too, will be subjected to the same taxes and restraints of freedom that Obama is trying to institute, including limits on the freedom of press.
Second, I think that some of the MSM is beginning to realize that there is no money in reciting talking points that everyone else is promoting, as well. The money is in the reporting of news, not agenda driven propaganda, that is being printed or recited in unison.
