As the vice president knows, I have always advocated an all-of-the-above approach to American energy independence. Among other things, my alternative energy goal for Alaska sits at 50 percent because Alaska reached more than 20 percent during my term in office. The Obama-Biden administration, on the other hand, recently announced a renewable goal of only 25 percent. However, domestic drilling should remain a top priority in order to meet Americas consumption and security needs.
etc...
Go Sarah Go!
What were Biden’s comments?
Glad to see her quick reponse. Unfortuately Bush was lousy at this.
Joe being Joe. Not worth repeating.
No common sense allowed....People like Palin are trashed...This administration stinks beyond any I've lived under.
Truly something memorable. /sarc
Cheap shot, got great laughs from his lib audience.
Thanks.
It was said in the snarkiest of ways, implying Sarah is an idiot and knows nothing. Joe is such a gift to conservatives. Ya gotta luv it..........
Imagine....accusing a former gov of Alaska of not knowing enough about energy matters.
It makes Biden look like the fool he is.
What I love is that the Obama administration seems to think they need to open up more fronts in their war on Palin than even in their war on Fox news.
Health care, local races, energy...
That was fast! It is logged 2:12 pm, it is 1:41 pm
Without the MSM they would be laughed off the stage.........
Good. She slapped Plug’s plugs off his head.
250 of which 50 were media.
I find it interesting that the VP has directly initiated a debate with Sarah. They have done so immediately preceeding an election that most likely will not be good for their wants. My question is, is this smart politics? Personnally I think it kinda of dumb. Why highlight your opponent when you are likely facing blue dog dem dropping support? Further, why elevate Sarah as your equal? The WH internal polling is either saying she is a rube who can kick for metro votes or she is the real threat in 2010 and 2012. If this were Clinton WH I doubt seriously that they would be doing this.
AWESOME REPLY as I knew it would be!

The vice presidents extreme opposition to domestic energy development goes all the way back to 1973 when he opposed the Alaska pipeline bill. As Ann Coulter pointed out, Biden cast one of only five votes against the pipeline that has produced more than 15 billion barrels of oil, supplied nearly 20 percent of this nations oil, created tens of thousands of jobs, added hundreds of billions of dollars to the U.S. economy and reduced money transfers to the nations enemies by about the same amount.
This nonsensical opposition to American domestic energy development continues to this day. Apparently the Obama-Biden administration only approves of offshore drilling in Brazil, where it will provide security and jobs for Brazilians. This election is about American security and American jobs.
Theres one way to tell Vice President Biden that were tired of folks in Washington distorting our message and hampering our nations progress: Hoffman, Baby, Hoffman!

Biden is going to speak any minute, and there are maybe 250 people gathered (50 of them are with the media); Watertown has a population of 30,000. The event is open to the public--no one needed a ticket to get in--but the room is only about 65 percent full. The turnout suggests that Joe the Vice President might not connect with working class voters (the kind who populate Watertown) as much as the White House believes he does.
Gotta love that she quotes Coulter!
Joe Biden should keep in mind, never bring a knife to a gun fight,or if you are in a gunfight, bring bullets, not plugs[slang for blanks].

I know it childish to make an idol out of any politician but I love this woman more every time she speaks.
They all ready get 24% of their energy from Alternatives. She wants the Utilities to work together to lower costs since they have reached the point the price of additional projects is outside the reach of any single utility.
This is way better then sticking your head in the sand and pretend there is no energy problem here in the USA.
