Pajamas Media is reporting the first exit poll data out of New Jersey and Virginia:

If Daggett is "barely registering, it should help Chris Christie.

One of my pet peeves is the ubiquitous misuse of ‘deadlocked.’

If New Jersey is “deadlocked,” its thanks to one thing and one thing only: ACORN. Christie must have been fifteen points ahead for ACORN to succeed only in “deadlocking” the vote.

Expect fraud in New Jersey. But this time, it won’t go unnoticed.

Sorry Ted. By the use of that, I mean “tied,” “even.” Why is “deadlocked” not to be used in that way?

Exit polls were pretty much right in 2008, but way off in 2004. So who knows?

The democrat party created Daggett to reduce the Republican votes and are paying for Daggett robo-calls in Republican areas.

Those controlling the count will shift Cristie votes to the independent candidate —Daggett IIRC— giving Corzine the win. It is a form of cheating perfected by Democrats, but both parties have used it when they cheat using third party entrants. When there are just two candidates, the democrats fabricate the votes they need to win a close one, like in Minnie soda, where the people are socialists anyway so they don’t really care. Sadly, it isn’t just Minnie soda which gets the truds from their socialist sludge pool.

We have to stop voter fraud and get rid of absentee voting - with 4-6 weeks early voting it shouldn’t be that necessary.

Those not in nursing homes can plan their lives around that window or miss out if it’s not that important to them anyway. I’ve lost count of the children/grandchildren who say something like “god forbid” as far as grandpa voting from the nursing home - if he doesn’t know his own children how is he supposed to know who to vote for.

Of course that’s what makes him an ideal ‘voter’ for an ACORN or moveon ‘helper’.

That’s ok. A ‘deadlock’ is a tie where the rules of the game don’t allow the game to continue and a winner to be determined.

So a baseball game isn’t ‘deadlocked’ at 3-3 in the 7th inning, for example, as they will play at least two more innings (and maybe more) until a winner is determined, as the rules mandate.

As long as there is a process to determine a winner, a ‘tie’ isn’t a ‘deadlock.’

I hear the word misused all the time, usually by sportscasters who should know better. It’s ok, though - chronic misuse of the word could change the meaning, over time.

But I understood what you meant. Here’s to victory! ;-)

My gut feeling has been 2 out of 3 - McDonnell in a ‘slide, Hoffman in a close race, and Christie losing by a small margin (including a considerable amount of election day shenanigans).

We’ll see, though. Hope I’m dead wrong about New Jersey. I’d love it if all three won. The louder and clearer the message to Obama and the Congress, the better.

If voting irregularities contribute to a bogus victory, then it is up to the good people of NJ to clean it up. The Feds will be an opponent and not of assistance. Having lived in NJ, crossing a picket line in the process of earning a living, all I can say is they need to clean out the mess. Turning a blind eye to corruption just allows it to improve its ability to steal from them. They deserve exactly what they are willing to fight for. Come on NJ, make us proud!

This sounds like good news for Christie.

I do believe RATS will cheat their way out of NJ. They always do. Don't worry, if it's close, and they're ahead, they'll declare victory but if it's close and they're behind, the recounts will begin and continue until they prevail. They may also need some additional time to make more votes or destroy some from Republican areas.

What about servicemens' ballots?

Dang, Christie is plummeting, to 25. Intrade is acting like the even-steven exit polls translate into an insurmountable Corzine advantage. Sort of like Corzine had ballots submitted somehow in addition to those voting.

chronic misuse of the word could change the meaning, over time.

That's what ends up happening. No one ever gets "begging the question" right either. They use it to mean "prompts the question" when it originally meant "assumes the answer".

Christie is done.

Intrade knows that to win in MafiaLand, Christie had to win by five or more points. Now the Dead will walk to the polls, courtesy of ACORN.

The Fat Guy will be a tasty morsel for the ACORN Zombies.

Best,

Chris

“Corzine 47, Christie: 47”

I just can’t see any republican pulling out a win against a democrat with the numbers that close. I would like to be wrong, but I have seen it done in my state, twice.

It may be by only a couple hundred votes, after multiple recounts, but the dem will cheat and come out the victor.

Our system has been almost completely destroyed by the dems, and all of the corruption in politics.

I would love to be wrong.

The fraud is in the absentee voting - no ID required, just a pre-ordered ballot to fill out - no opportunity for mischief there of course. (absentee voting allowed for active duty military of course)

Early voters have to show up in person and as soon as some of these courts get their heads out of their backsides, both early and day of voters will have to show photo IDs.
