How about another option, genuine Conservative Leader?
You know the rats that visit ABC would vote for the Liberal Republican.
Robert Jindal.
When hell freezes over.
Sadly, it will be Mitt Romney.
Don’t need to even look at this poll> I can see it’s ABC news, and then I see of the four they’ve got listed, ONLY ONE has any real chance of being the likely candidate, and she is SECOND! Mitt Romney is “first” because ABC voters, like ABC itself are both in the business of floating “false choices”, and handpicking for us only those people they know are likely LOSERS. If they had any smarts Jim DeMint would be on the list. If push comes to shove, and a few years down the line, Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich are in the process of being shoved down our throats, the RNC will be toppled.
Who do you suggest?
Rino 46% 2,273 votes (could be good for the economy but, has had liberal tendencies in the past)
Rightwing Populist 27% 1,341 votes (nice legs and a smooth talker...worth a second look)
Rino #2 17% 837 votes (Minnesota? Come on!)
Pinhead Intellectual 9% 423 votes (Posed as a *warmer* with Pelosi....’nough said)

That McDonell ran a pretty sharp campaign.
I’d like to see him get some national name recognition.
Sorry, but Jindal cannot get elected. Too many bigots in the northeast and midwest.
Too bad he is a damn good man.
Agreed.
MR will not even make it out of the primary process.

Romney? We might as well run Scozzafava. Go away Mitt, and take Newt with you.
If it’s Romney, millions of us will sit it out or do a write in.
I voted for the lesser of two evils with McCain and I refuse to do it again. I’ll choke to death on my own vomit.
It will NOT be Mitt Romney. If Michael Steele survives another few years in his position, and steadfastly refuses to LEARN anything from the New Republican Majority, and he tries to foist a handpicked ‘sure thing’ like Romney down our throats, well, he just won’t be able to do it.
I think we’re onto him already, and he’s a sure loser.
Romney has ZERO charisma, appeal, and he’s really not even that good looking. Kinda robotic.
Therefore I will not participate. Don't let the Liberals and media EVER again pick and choose our candidates.
If Mitt is Pete, who is repeat? Probably Huck. Seriously though, I think a Mitt ticket is going to result in a repeat of NY 23. I am still exited about Sarah, so I will remain hopeful. The problem is that I am not overly willing to believe the first person who comes out of left field and claims to be a conservative. Sarah has a history. People may not always agree with her history, but it is out there in the open, and that is why I trusts her. In 2012 I am voting based on conservative values plus trustworthiness. Mitt does not meet any of those criteria and Sarah meets both.
Jindal’s parents were not citizens when he was born. He’s not a natural born citizen. Not eligible.
“The poll is located on the right hand side, under an ad, about 1/3 of the way down the page.”
Can’t find it.

>>When will they get behind Ron Paul 2012?<<
When he starts taking his meds on schedule, instead of randomly.
Oh, and when he stops being antisemitic and starts living in the real world.
MITT equals Health CARE.
>>Jindals parents were not citizens when he was born. Hes not a natural born citizen. Not eligible.<<
Didn’t stop the 1st Nigerian — why should it stop Jindal?
If the Republicans nominate Romney, it would be like going backwards another 4 years--to Nixon. I don't think I can stomach that. I guarantee you, 100 percent, without a doubt, that Romney would get stomped by Obama. Might as well go third party at that point, because if you hold your nose and vote for Romney you will be wasting your vote just as surely as if you happily vote for a conservative.
It will take a conservative to attack Obama as the anti-American, marxist destroyer of our country that he is. It can be Palin, DeMint, Bachman, Jindal, Limbaugh, I don't care, but they better have the mental agility and toughness to defend themselves against a media onslaught the likes of which no one has seen before. If you thought they were in the tank last time, wait til you see the media with the power of government behind them.
Much depends on the results of the 2010 elections. If Obama is not derailed in those elections, he will be pretty tough to beat in 2012, no matter who is running. He'll be like Chavez, and just like Chavez, he'll start talking about a third term around 2013.
Where are these Mittwits coming from? I hardly know anyone in any circle who Mitt even pops up on their radar. My FR circle is the only group I associate with that even notices him, and it sure isn’t in a positive way.
LOL, thanks for the laugh.. I see you found the line where he is leading by 1000%. He also won the Coke/Pepsi challenge in the same poll.
NIgerian? Don’t you mean Kenyan?
Doesn’t even have to be Democrats voting on the ABCDisney News poll.
Anyone from anywhere in the world can click through and stuff online poll data.
Just like contributions online to the Obama campaign.
When I hit “Post” I was thinking the same: “that don’t look right...”
a *DOH* moment if there ever was one. But at least you can understand my conflating 419 scams and this administration....
The Poll is a phony. It doesnt ask who I would like to be the candidate, It asks who will probably be the candidate.
Mitt Romney will probably be the candidate, but I wont vote for the Massachusetts health care liberal Rino .
Sarah Palin would be my choice, but she hasnt a prayer with the present Republican leaders.
I think I will seriously leave the party before 2012, the impression I get is they dont want me or my Conservative views.
Romney is not who I want, but he is who the GOP is going to engineer. He’s going to lose, too.
There will be a third party candidate and we will have a NY-23 outcome. However, Dear Leader is going to have to show he’s a natural born citizen to the third party candidate....so he won’t be running against Romney.
LOL! You could say the same things about Pat Buchanan.
no offense, but any poll that give Romney that kind of total is BS
Perhaps you regard anyone being for America first as antisemitic.
>>Perhaps you regard anyone being for America first as antisemitic.<<
Nope, just the ones that hate Jews and Israel.
>>no offense, but any poll that give Romney that kind of total is BS<<
I think they automatically factor in the Osmond family votes.
“Too bad he is a damn good man.”
And a horrible speaker. Sorry, I’ve had enough Republican candidates who can’t seem to string two sentences together or inspire a tick onto a dog’s back.
After that clunker of a response he gave after one of Obama’s speeches, it’s time we asked for more.
poll isn’t who we want. its who people think is most likely. Use it. many think Palin is not ready or even capable. I personally think shes the best candidate and tell people all the time. Engage them. Educate them. Maybe the same poll in six months will have her as the most likely candidate.
I think Romney is who they will try to shove down our throats knowing he cannot win.
My girl slightly moving UP !!

I really like Liz Cheney.
“Robert Jindal.”
I’ll go with Mark Sanford, he has more foreign relations experience.
It is way too early to spend time on presidential politics, let’s concentrate on the 2010 elections.
Voted for Palin...
