CITIZEN NULLIFICATION

What if Nancy Pelosi passed a Health Care Law and nobody complied?
What if doctors leave the profession in droves and work on the black market? What if private citizens buy their health care under the table for cash, as is done in all socialist countries? What if Catholic hospitals, opposed to mandated abortion services, acting alone or as a group, refused to comply with the Pelosi / Reid take over of the US Health Care System? How would the Federal Government respond to this defiance?
I am not talking about civil disobedience. When groups of people get together and break small laws in order to have a bigger law repealed.
I am not talking about jury nullification. When a jury sitting at trial refuses to convict a person who has broken a specific law.
I am asking the question of what would happen if citizens themselves decide that this particular legislation is so onerous and inimical to liberty that they just cannot obey. Would an otherwise law abiding population, coming face to face with a law they believe will strip them of their historical rights, traditional privileges, and constitutional liberties, exercise their God given prerogatives and defy it?
This would be so serious a defiance of law that it has happened only one time in American history.

Sounds good...but the power of the Feds is AWESOME, and there’s not much hope of standing up to them...unless...
...you take the Texas approach and simply break away (assuming that we do that). Then they can have their socialist utopia, but we (here in Texas) do not have to participate.

This is what people must understand. Laws are only made powerful when the people agree with the enforcement. There would be no way for the gov’t to enforce if a large number refused to comply. Imagine the domino effect if people refused in large numbers, I will list a few but it would be a long list:
1. Where would you house the people arrested?
2. The court system would be overwhelmed.
3. Loss of tax revenue from all the people arrested who are no longer able to work.
4. Increased taxes to pay for new prisons, court houses, judges, enforcement personnel (see #3).

Be patient.
The day you envision is coming.
And it's not that far in the future.
In the meantime, stock up on ammo and generators and canned goods and fresh water and the like.
But mostly ammo.

Keep this thread alive, for all Jersey Conservatives.
All those questions asked at the beginning I have been
asking all year, especially. This needs to be discussed, and acted on NOW, because our NEW Colonial Masters are living in Congress and 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

It isn’t considered civil disobedience if the act itself is unconstitutional. What they are proposing is not constitutional and I will not comply or pay the fine.
I will take them to court if they arrest me!

Not a problem for Socialists. William Ayers has already proposed it. History has already provided us the pattern.
They’ll just shoot about 25 million people.

A new class of criminal is thus created. Uncle same will declare a “war on illicit health care”. These new criminals will be gradually normalized just as narcotics users and illegal aliens will be. gradually, laws will mean nothing. The next president will be a tax dodging, drug addicted, illegal alien, terrorist...
oh wait...

Theyll just shoot about 25 million people. The pertinent question is whether the 25 million people will shoot back.

As in England, the vast majority of the doctors and nurses would be imported from Muslim countries with predictable results:
Two NHS doctors planned a campaign of "indiscriminate and wholesale murder" with a series of car bomb attacks across Britain which culminated in a failed suicide attack on Glasgow Airport, a jury has been told.
Oh and in a spectacular bit of synchronicity our own latest perfect product of the religion of peace, the Fort Hood alleged mass murderer, Major Malik Nadal Hasan, the US army officer. a US-born Muslim who had joined the military after high school. He had served as a psychiatrist at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC. According to AP sources, Hasan got his medical degree from the military's Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda in 2001.
Or was the timing of this whole event just perfect for distracting everyone away from the bill that was being passed and the patriots who were demonstrating against it on the steps of the capital?

What would they do? Nancy and Company supports partial birth abortion.
To them, we are just a bunch of walking fetuses that have temporarily dodged the scissors.
What do you think they would do?

If they succeed in ramming this down our throats my plan is different - I plan on “Cloward-Pivining” them to death. I - and like-minded individuals will overwhelm the system until it breaks down.
They think that things are “F’d” up now - they ain’t seen nothing yet...

The law is CERTAINLY not binding in conscience.
1) It is unconstitutional.
2) It is being rammed through against the clear will of the people.
3) It is being voted on by Reps and Senators who cannot have read it.
4) The bill/law CANNOT be read and comprehended. It is designed to be unreadable and incomprehensible.
I would certainly favor mass non-cooperation. Citizens ought to practice the Cloward-Piven strategy, and clog the system as much as possible. They should physically clog doctors’ offices, take every appointment, treatment, prescription, etc., that is offered at government expense. They should walk slowly and obstruct every medical facility.

They should physically clog doctors offices, take every appointment, treatment, prescription, etc., that is offered at government expense. They should walk slowly and obstruct every medical facility. If these socialists force ObamaCare through in any form, I plan on doing exactly that. I am already devoting a significant amount of my time to making sure that Obama and Pelosi fail and that their efforts fail, and I will have at least two medical visits a week starting the day the usurper signs an ObamaCare bill. Socialized medicine must be such an obvious failure that it is repealed, and if we have to make the system fail to get there, it's our moral obligation to do so.

Other than the example I used in the piece, the Coercive Acts passed by the British Parliament in 1774, there may be two other examples of Citizen Nullification in our history. The Fugitive Slave Laws in the 1850's when a large portion of the population, at least in the North, refused to comply. And Prohibition in the 1920's.
But using your criteria of "binding in conscience" I would say this health care take over is more in line with the Fugitive Slave Law than Prohibition.
