I must once again thank Amerika for giving us this puke. A special thanks too all those blacks out there who voted for the brother over freedom and liberty, but rather for the brother for free hand outs. Way too go. The Black vote had nothing to do with his getting elected. They were going to vote Democratic no matter what. The fault lies in the GOP giving us McCain as a candidate. I had to force myself to vote for McCain and that was only because I voted for Sarah. If REPUBLICANS could barely stomach voting McCain, can you blame Blacks, who are died in the wool democrats, for being even less inspired to vote for him. If we run a RINO like McCain again, we deserve 4 more years of Obambi!

Dude, I know as close to first hand the hold Obama had on the Blacks. I share my bed with one of those who fell under his spell. It has been a year and I still don’t get it. My wife voted for Obama last year, though she had voted for Bush twice. I can’t say I really blame her. She had a choice between voting for the first member of her race that had a legitmate shot, or McCain. Come on, even I had to hold my nose to vote for McCain and even then, I only did it for Sarah. I will say one thing, she is not voting for Obama again in 2012. Unless the GOP runs someone like McCain again and if that was the case, I would join her out of spite. If we can do no better than put up RINOs, we deserve Obamas several times over.

That is not even remotely true. Usually 60% of blacks vote Democrat. This time 98% did.

You more or less prove me right. The Democrats gave the Black vote a Black candidate to vote for, we gave them...McCain? Can you blame them for stampeding over to that side? I had to drive a stake through my foot to keep from joining them. Come on...McCain? You serious? McCain practically wanted to usher Mexicans across the border himself and how much of the Hispanic vote did he get? The Black vote can’t elect anybody on a national level. If every single black vote and every single hispanic and every single asian vote goes for Obama they still can’t win without a large amount of white votes. More white people voted for Obama than black folks. That’s why he won.

No one campaigned harder against McCain's nomination than I did. There was no way I was going to vote for him but, like many others, I changed my mind when he chose Sarah Palin for VP. But I would have never voted for 0ba-Mao under any circumstances.

The fact that Obama beat Hillary to be the Democratic nominee changed everything. I jnew he was going to get a bigger portion of the Black vote. I felt he was going to get a bigger portion of the Hispanic and youth vote. My wife would get really miffed that I called it, “The Novelty Vote.” I would have called it the “Token” vote, but she is Black and her legs would have been crossed to this day. That is what it was, a “novelty” vote that had only McCain to counter it. It likely won’t be repeated.

I think we all know the motivation underlying the “Novelty vote” or the “Token vote.” With all due respect it would be just as descriptive and just as accurate to call it the “OJ vote” or the “Rodney King vote.” It is hardly confined to that election or to black people but it was a matter of putting self above country. That could really be said of virtually everyone who voted for 0ba-Mao.

Voting for one evil over another does not give you good. McCain was an idiot, yes, no question. I agree. HOWEVER, Obama is much worse. He is pure evil. If you think voting for evil over stupidity is better, then you have your own problems to deal with. I voted for McCain simply because there was no way on God's green earth I was going to vote for an pure evil, street thug, criminal, probably NON-American, lying, socialist, communist, puke. I would vote for any black, Hispanic, Asian, whatever race, doesn't matter too me, that supports this nation as founded, Under God, as by the founders. Not someone hell bent on destroying it.

Voting for the lesser of two evils has no upside. The choice between Obama and McCain was like jumping out a highrise window and choosing whether to splatter all over the pavement or impale myself on a wrought iron gate upon landing. No upside and a mess either way. I am not voting RINO again, ever. If a Democrat wins I lose and if a RINO wins, I lose. The difference is, with a RINO, I lose but to add insult to injury, I lose but gave him my vote. Not going to do that again.

A vote is a precious thing. The colonies went to war for it. My father fought endless human wave attacks in Korea to protect it. I had sand in places on my body I did not know existed in Desert Storm for it. I realize now that a vote is much to precious to waste on someone who does not deserve it. I have a lot of respect for John McCain and his history, but he really did not deserve my vote. Voting for a candidate should not leave you feeling like you need a shower and voting for McCain did just that. In the end, I felt like a whore. Used for nothing once it was over. Not going to do that again. If the Democrats nominate Satan in 2012 and the best we can do is someone like McCain, the Democrats can have it and we would deserve whatever we got for nominating a RINO again.

No more votes for someone who would "reach across the aisle, my friends." It seems that every issue a Republican wants to reach across the aisle for is something I in no way want! Climate Change? Amnesty? Healthcare? I vote for candidates specifically because I do not want that crap! No thanks. From now on, I will hold on to my vote, not my nose on election day.

I am with you 100%. I felt like an idiot for changing my mind just because of Palin. I blame myself entirely for ignoring all of my best instincts and succumbing to the nonsense of "hope." She is great but the truth is "hope" is all she added to McCain's ticket because he held the top spot. That is really all the a presidential ticket is about.

Truth be told, my wife and I were on the verge of seperating no too long ago and the strangest of consequences brought us back together. One of my daughters gave me the complete series of Battlestar Galactica. I had watched a couple of episodes in January and had loved it but I wanted to see the whole thing. My wife does not like Sci Fi at all but she indulged me one evening and we started watching the series from the beginning. We watch an episode or two every Saturday. Somehow, doing this and enjoying this truly spectacular show together has healed what was going wrong between us. We look forward to each episode. We discuss what happened during the week.

I cannot believe I never wanted to watch this show when it was being aired. It is truly the best Television I have ever seen. The fact that it saved my marriage, not withstanding.
