The House has passed health reform legislation by a vote of 220-215. One Republican, Rep. Joseph Cao (R-LA), voted for the bill and 39 Democrats voted against the legislation.

Oh fer Pete’s sake. The Dems were always hollering that Bush would never leave office and America was dooooomed. Surely we’re better than that. There’ll be elections the same as always. Dems were voted into to office and it isn’t the least bit surprising that Dems would do what Dems do. Tea parties didn’t concern them because they know they have plenty of supporters. Not sad, just get organized and vote them out.

It passed, but barely. Now the holes in this bill will be on display for at least six weeks while the Senate finishes their bill, gets it scored by CBO, and then debates it for four to six weeks, not four hours as in the House.
The Senate bill is much different and the debate there will highlight every dirty secret hidden in the House bill.
Now that we have Pelosi’s bill locked in place, the rage of the American people over Obamacare is going to escalate on a daily basis. The President’s numbers will fall, and the moderates in the Senate will slow things down and likely drag this out until January.
Dont give up.

Start by attacking the whole premise of government licensing for doctors, hospitals, etc, and the government requirement that we buy a prescription from a government-licensed doctor before we can buy medicine we want. Free-market healthcare is what we need, and we should use the courts to get it.

That particular penalty far exceeds the penalty usually laid on folks who murder federal employees, or people on federal property.
I cannot any longer do business with a puke who thinks my missing a payment is worthy of a penalty more than he's willing to exact of a murderer.
He's walked away from his job and declared war on me and all his other constituents.
