The DUmmies are going rabid again over Joe Lieberman over the fact that he will act to block the ObamaCare bill coming to the Senate. Rabid DUmmies are also FUnnie DUmmies as you can see in this THREAD, "It's Official: Lieberman going to Block Senate HCR Bill." Since I am currently busy preparing for my big Caribbean adventure this weekend on Culebra, I'll keep this intro short but sweet. This also means I probably won't be able to post another DUFU edition until I get back. Perhaps I will even regale you with how we were able to travel to Culebra and back for under a hundred bucks. Good info to know in this time of the Great Recession. So let us now watch the DUmmies scream once again at Lieberman in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, who is already dreaming of diving for lobster this weekend, is in the [brackets]:

The DU had a thread last night about Lieberman calling the Ft Hood shooting terrorism (which we would all agree with here). But on the DU they were tearing Joe apart for it. The language on the DU as usual was R Rated, including the F word on several post. And there were some obvious antisemitic posters. Just with a few minutes on the web site and I felt I needed a shower.

Conde Nast magazine rated the beaches of Culebra as the second best in the world. Pristine ocean and sea (Atlantic on the north, Caribbean on the south) and colorful coral reefs abound.

Fly to San Juan. Rent a car. Drive to Fajardo. Catch the ferry (only about 5 bucks) to Culebra which is about 20 miles from PR. I plan to sleep on the beach. Nature Boy all the way for me. (Wife doesn't know about that part of the plan...yet.)

Plane fare covered by free voucher. Allow yourself to be bumped on an overbooked flight and score yourself a $500 flight voucher. Skip the expensive hotels. Sleep on the beach like me or do the couch surfing routine. They have a website. Finally, HUNT for your food. In my case it will be for lobsters. Supposedly large Caribbean lobsters surround Culebra.

Huh? That happens a lot. First time I saw that happen was when I first arrived in PR at age eight. A young man speared a large fish near the Condado Beach Hotel. Later he brought it in and they cooked it up for him. There was a charge but not as much as normal.

In the Keys, there is a place famous for cooking up the fish you catch. Maybe I'll improvise and cook them over a fire I build. Or maybe I'll meet people who live there and will cook them. One way or another, if I catch some lobsters, I'll be sure to eat them. I guarantee you that.
