According to Bill OReillys week long poll it is Governor Sarah Palin:
Sarah Palin: 30% Huckabee: 29% Romney: 25% Gingrich:16%
I find it odd that the numbers were only announced by Mr OReilly and not released. I would say the results are actually much better for Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin typically has a much larger margin of victory against the three respectable but boring Huckabee, Romney & Gingrich. But a win is still a win.
I thought it was interesting what Huckabee had to say about Sarah Palin...
Hold on a second... this doesn’t fit the narrative I’ve been fed over and over this year. Sarah Palin can actually win? Who knew?
ANY Republican who has the gonads to actually run AGAINST Obama instead of kissing his half-lily-white rump.
In other words, Sarah Palin.
RomneyCare is disqualifying.
Huckabee needs to be grounded in economic conservatism, not populism.
Newt: Wrong decade.
Sarah Palin for President.
Condi Rice for Vice President.
The winning ticket at the race track in 2012.
Book It!!
I say none of them. The GOP needs a fresh, new face to throw in the mix instead of these recycled polititians.
What did Huck say about Sarah?...
Wow... 65% of respondents are frightfully ignorant.
Huckabee - Do you *really* see this guy having a strong foreign policy? Really? No, really? I can’t stand listening to him talk either; I’ve met trailer trash more insightful than this. Hell, Bush sounded more intelligent.
Romney - Rick Perry wannabe with his own health socialized care plan. Mmk?
Gingrich - global warming & Pelosi, RINO endorsing elitist.
I like Condi, but Palin/Bachmann would be my dream ticket at this point.
I read something about John Thune possibly running the other day, but I think he has some RINO-ish tendencies.
I thought this was going to prove to be another clueless poll like last weeks , where Palin was 3rd or 4th. FINALLY, I see she shows as first, which is intuitively obvious to millions of Americans, but only to a few talking heads on FOX apparently. There will be a continuing Jihad against Palin as soon as her book comes out, don’t bet against it, all in the attempt to reverse, or slow down her momentum.
The likes of MSM, Matthews, CNN, Overbite, etc. will be dismantling it every day on their shows. It will ONLY increase her popularity. This lady made the most astonishing impression the moment she strode across the national stage, that I wouldn’t be surprised if she built on it, and sustained it month by month even to the point that those that now consider themselves ‘likely’ just chuck it all and say “Hell, she should be our nominee”. I really think this is how it will happen.
Sarah would be a good neighbor or friend. She is not suited for public office. There must be a young Republican governor out there to campaign for POTUS.
palin / pence?
palin / petraeus?
palin / pawlenty?
Not suited for public office? You do realize she has been elected to public office twice.
Oh come on folks, Newt is on his 3rd marriage...just that alone makes him unelectable...left would pound him to the ground on that one issue.......NEWT is a dreamin'...
Ha ha ha... good one!
This is a joke, right? ... right?
Yes please.
Both Sarah and Michelle have shown more guts and kahunas than anyone else out there. And that includes Huck and Romney, who remained silent on NY23, and who still remain silent on Obama Care.
Palin/Pence sounds good. And then Petraeus as Sec. of Defense and Bolton Sec. of State
Sarah Palin as our nominee in 2012 will ensure 4 more years of Hussein Obama and his Chicago thugs. I’ve said it before: she’s a quitter. She couldn’t handle the pressure of governing Alaska; how can she handle the pressure of the presidency? We need a serious candidate to beat Soros’ boy in 2012. Palin isn’t it.
(Nor or Huckaphony or Romney. No more 2008 retreads, please.)
And I've said it before: horsecrap.
Huckabee has become pretty popular with his TV show. Beware of the squishy middle.
He has been making some pretty snide remarks about Palin also. (all done in good humor you know)
You say it well.
Huckster is good at making jokes. Take a look at the Arkansas GOP after he was done with it. That’s a million laughs right there.
Obummer keeps going the way he’s going any republican with a pulse will beat him.
Chuck Norris is a Republican and I’d like to see him beat Obama.
I’d like to see a Mike Pence/Sarah Palin ticket.
“Chuck Norris was bitten by a Rattler.. After 3 days of excruciating pain.. the snake died.”
Hey, I like Palin too. But she will never be president.
Sarah is the ONLY ONE who can beat Obama!
Now you know. lol..
Either of the 3 wont win the nomination.
Romney with the albatross of Health care on his back, Huckabbe cannot appeal to fiscal conservatives, Palin too erratic and not disciplined.
The candidate will a Republican governor from some midwest state.
Haley Barbour
C’mon. Politics doesn’t work that way. If you haven’t declared by now or made efforts to get your ducks in a row by spring 2010 (Pawlenty) you won’t be considered a serious candidate.
In this age of the Internet who you see is who you will get: Palin, Huckabee, Romney, Gingrich, or Pawlenty.
Lots of good answers, but the real answer is:
None.
The fix is in already; the fake voters have been vetted in the 2008 election, and they’re waiting for use in 2012. He’s going to serve two terms, that’s just the reality of the situation.
However, at this point, I’d take any GOP candidate over Obama, just for the fact that there would be divided Government and that tends to slow the erosion of rights and expansion of Government.
Palin/Bachmann .... just give me Palin/Bachmann.
I like Sarah but no way she’ll win. Too polarizing.
Good one..LOL
Give it a rest. At least until you can improve your analytical skills. Step one: make sure your premise is aligned with the facts.
IMO, she is capable of becoming our first woman President. She will slaughter Obama! THAT is who I want for my President! :)
Why?...because she has no community organizer experience?...
She's already been elected to public office!
(BTW....someone used that same line on Reagan yrs ago!...Was it you?)
Oh, come on. You're going to let a couple of flubbed interviews trump a sixteen-year record of effective, honest, prudent governance? Before last year's campaign, Mrs. Palin was the most popular governor in America, with a record of achievement that beat any of her male predecessors.
You need to review further, your vp pick.Condi is no conservative.
Sarah would be a good neighbor or friend. She is not suited for public office. There must be a young Republican governor out there to campaign for POTUS.
++++++++++++++
Pawlenty, Jindal - who?
Oh its just one of the drive by Palin detractors from mittens camp.Ignore it.
Really?I guess you never went to one of her rallies did you?
Sit in the truck..we'll get it for ya!
