Obama Takes First Step in Banning All Firearms
DefendUSx ^ | November 11, 2009 | DefendUSx

On Wednesday the Obama administration took its first major step in a plan to ban all firearms in the United States. The Obama administration intends to force gun control and a complete ban on all weapons for US citizens through the signing of international treaties with foreign nations. By signing international treaties on gun control, the Obama administration can use the US State Department to bypass the normal legislative process in Congress. Once the US Government signs these international treaties, all US citizens will be subject to those gun laws created by foreign governments. These are laws that have been developed and promoted by organizations such as the United Nations and individuals such as George Soros and Michael Bloomberg. The laws are designed and intended to lead to the complete ban and confiscation of all firearms.

The Obama administration is attempting to use tactics and methods of gun control that will inflict major damage to our 2nd Amendment before US citizens even understand what has happened. Obama can appear before the public and tell them that he does not intend to pursue any legislation (in the United States) that will lead to new gun control laws, while cloaked in secrecy, his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton is committing the US to international treaties and foreign gun control laws. Does that mean Obama is telling the truth? What it means is that there will be no publicized gun control debates in the media or votes in Congress.

85 million armed gun owners marching on the White House would change his mind in a heartbeat...and the louses in Congress who agree to go along with this mess.

International treaties need to be scrutinized with this administration. There seems be an agenda that is not in our best interest.

That will be the last straw, if true.

LEOs despise Obozo and his minions with a perfect hatred. They are screwed. If they try raising their own army then there is CWII and they are screwed even more.

My bet... local smaller city cops and county sheriffs will go with the side of the Constitution. Urban cops would side with the fascists... most of them are worthless anyway...other than dealing out speeding tickets, shooting dogs and old people or those with mental disorders.

The military would be the big question mark. Probably most would follow the chain of command (the Social Fascists), but they would have to contend with all the ex-military many of whom would defend the Constitution.

But its just an exercise in fantasy really. No way the Senate would pass such a thing.

If ya’ll want to engage in some serious paranoia... consider that articles like this could be posted and used to find out who would resist unconstitutional actions.

It’s amazing to me to watch the reactions to this BS.
Some of you seem to have left common sense at home.
He can sign all the Treaties he wants but as someone pointed out they must be ratified by the U.S. Senate.
Lets not lose our cool just yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What you said...

Although, I can easily see this Administration ignoring that little ol' "ratification" step. Espcially seeing how they piss on the rest of the Constitution.

There will be no ban. There might be a civil war, but there will be no ban.

I will not comply. I am not alone.

40/60. About 60% on our side. According to my retired LEO father who still does Range Master duty for local and County LEO re-quals.

Great website. From looking at it, those LEOs and military types would be on our side.

So what? You think most of us aren't on some list already? Should this scare us? Should we cower in fear?

F*ck that. Pardon my French...

I can see the older LEOs like your Dad being on our side, but what about all these new, young cops I’m seeing? I mean, they look like little kids and, being as such, I would think they’d be easily brainwashed by Zero and his thugs. For the record, I live in a rural town who’s citizens would not stand for this sheet for second.

The President does not have the authority to sign away our constitutional rights. But of course we have no ‘standing’ in any court, so nothing will be done...
