I saw one of Pitt’s earlier books for sale at a Goodwill store for $2. I passed, as it was grossly overpriced.

Okay, I am back from Culebra and I have discovered PARADISE ON EARTH!!! Best of all, I have made the connections to make my next vacation there incredibly CHEAP while living like a king. I made connections with a real estate outfit down there so that I can rent any one of a number of luxurious homes of absentee owners for a mere PITTance. Oh, and one way you can save a lot of bucks is to NOT rent a car. First of all, it is almost impossible to bring a rental car to the island via ferry plus a car is completely unnecessary there since frequent shuttle buses take you across the island for just 3 bucks.

The town of Dewey in Culebra is incredibly quaint with winding narrow roads on the steep hills. Nightlife consists mostly of outdoor cafes where you can eat Puerto Rican food and drink Medalla, a terrific local cerveza. It is a bit humid but the mornings are very refreshing. The sea is very cool. Very green tropical growth but drier than Puerto Rico.

However, the best thing about the island (in addition to the incredible friendliness of the locals) are the outstanding coral reefs. I skin dived for hours and hours, fascinated by the vast array of marine life below the surface.

More later, perhaps in a special DUFU edition.
