A friend and I were away for the weekend and we left to come home on Sunday. Traffic was moving slow & a car in front of us had an Obama bumper sticker on it. It read: "Pray for Obama. Psalm 109:8".
His bible was lying on the dash board & he got it & opened it up to the scripture & read it. He started laughing & laughing. Then he read it to me. I couldn't believe what it said. I had a good laugh, too. Psalm 109:8 "Let his days be few; and let another take his office. "
This is SO great. I now know how to pray for this man. Thank you!

I disagree with the premise of the original post.

I don't think you can interpret this reference in opposition to the original post. It says we are to pray for kings, etc., not that they should all live and reign forever, but that we should have a quiet and peaceable life, (whatever happens to them.) In the case of the current WH occupant, we should be praying that he doesn't get away with his corruption. Same goes for the entire Congress.
Btw, I note that the apostle Peter applied Ps. 109.8 to Judas, which makes it pretty apt to our present situation.

Oh, and then there's *this*: A folder in the new email program. It's marked "News". Every hour I receive "news" from of all places MSNBC!! LOL

When I saw that I deleted the folder, had to manually delete each of 128 "news" flashes. Fired up the box the next morning, launched the email program and sure enough, the bastards at uShit hard programmed that folder in because it's back. That's gonna be trouble, I can guaren-damned-tee that. LOL
Other than that? It's a PTA having to relearn all the operating nomenclature. Which essentially does the same function(s) as the old, just [is] better organized I'm told for more efficient internal operation. OK. Fine.

For the cars, 4 standard CDa discs will occupy ~450MB per each 700MB blank, in MP3 format, with 150MB left over.
Even tho' both rides have XM, both my bride & I actually prefer the EMA works as they're much more diverse. :o)

Let us do what we can through the freedom still allowed in our land to affect political change and then take our complaints and concerns up with the Sovereign God who has allowed him to be put in the position he holds. But please let us not receive for ourselves the grace of Christ to cover our own shortcomings and then sit in hypocritical judgment. Instead, let us be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of the world, among whom we should shine as lights. We are called to be the salt of the earth, but if the salt loses its flavor what is it good except to be thrown out and trodden under foot. Unfortunately, when we behave like hypocrites by preaching grace and then spewing hate the world wants nothing to do with us but to throw us out, and I would agree with them. What good is salt that tastes like crap?
