One might think he had learned his lesson back in April after his greeting to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia created such a brouhaha. But one would be wrong. President Obama is at it again, showing his subservient colors, as he bows to Japans Emperor Akihito.
Weve been told, ad nauseum, that President Obama is a brilliant man, equal to any situation, attentive to nuances so subtle only he could distinguish them (akin to the way a dog can hear things that we mere humans cant.) And yet here he goes again, presenting himself (and by extension, his nation) as subordinate to Japan via his full bow its Emperor...

I think President Obama has done almost as much damage to America's world standing by his disgraceful lack of protocol as he has with his disastrous policies.
The protocol office is equally as incompetent and clueless as the punk in the White House himself. They all suffer from the same affliction.
As someone pointed out on another thread, the US suffered two devastating sneak attacks in the twentieth century. Obama has now performed obeisance before the leaders of both of those countries.
It’s weird. Sends a very bad message to anyone who is thinking of staging an attack against us.
Okay, I never thought of that. That’s just plain creepy. I’m updating my post. Thanks.
This is Obama’s way of apologizing to the Japanese for the affrontery of the Americans, in that they DEFEATED the Japanese in 1945, humbling the Japanese in such a way they gave up much of the old way of life, government, and imperialistic claims, and the US FORCED a peace treaty upon the Emperor of Japan.
Besides, Obama may want Japanese help in bailing the US out if the Chinese go calling in their mortgage on America.
Like anybody could save us from the consequences of that debt.
The world is laughing at this child like dunce.
