Did you notice on that little bar gif that they use orange and call it 'elevated' and red and call it 'high' when that is not the color scheme for alerts?
Orange = high and red = severe. You would think Homeland Security could keep their own alert system straight.

I did notice that and concluded that they did not want Severe to be on the blinker script for political reasons?
