She is hoping everyone will forget this in 2014 when she's up for re-election. I will NEVER forget this and I don't know anyone else who will. I will do everything in my power to make sure she never gets elected to another office. God willing, New Orleans won't be enough to save her next time.
Mary, at heart, is as liberal as they come. She would NEVER be the DECIDING vote against any bill which advances, nor for any bill which hinders, the cause of international socialism. As long as she is NOT the DECIDING vote, she will attempt to appease her red-state base.
She just sold out her constituents for 100M. Whore.
She will vote to give Reid his 60 votes to continue debate, then vote against the final bill when the Dems only need 51 votes. This allows her to tell her constituents that she voted against the boondoggle Health Care bill. Hopefully, the people of her state are smart enough to see thru this political BS tactic, but politicians get away with this sort of double-speak all the time so I’m not betting on it.
Even if she votes against it, the vote that counts is the one for cloture. If she thinks that she will have it both ways, the healthcare debate is too important for politicians to hide behind people’s ignorance. Too many people know what she did. She will pay in 2010. That’s what the “stimulus” was all about - putting together a slush fund of taxpayer money to bribe politicians for votes on healthcare. Corruption at the highest levels.
Which, furthermore, leads me to believe that Lincoln has assured her that she will be voting YES.
Money talks. As was stated in a previous thread, bills pass 97% of the time when cloture is invoked. Voting for cloture is a vote for passage.

Today’s vote is to begin debate. The Democrats won’t lose that vote. The crucial vote is the one to end debate. That is the one where pressure is needed. There are several vulnerable Democrats who will have to choose between pleasing Harry Reid, or keeping their seat.
Reid and Obama will lose that choice.
You know that they will. By then Urkel will be entrenched to where a vote has any meaning. Take this for an example.
