You had a chance to kill the public option, once and for all last night and you failed to take action.

Look at how they vote, forget about what they say.

I think it will. There are a lot of hookers in the Senate who will do anything for a few bucks and an opportunity to kiss the bottoms of BO’s feet.

Frankly, I don’t care how you feel.

You are a traitor to your country.

For shame.

I had hope for Lieberman but he's shown himself to be a worthless leftist, in spite of Hannity kissing his butt.

Lieberman had the chance to kill this POS and he punked out. He needs to go along with his buddy Dodd.

“I Don’t Think Anybody Feels This Bill Will Pass As Is”

What he means is that the final bill will pass when all 1900 pages of the House Bill are added in, making it a 4000+ page monster... Hey! What Congerwhore could vote against free pet care?

This is a blank peice of paper, all 2074 pages. They will make this up as they go along adding what ever they damed well please. They just want to pass the “work in progress” blank sheet so they have something they can claim is thier own. And we will be sure to hang them with it!

Eventually the stock market will react to this insanity, and the fallout will lie solely on the Dems. They totally own this mess now.

He just wants them to change the name. He would of voted no last night if he was going to.

Exactly - which is why we want NO interference by government in something as vital to ALL Americans as their healthcare.

"Lieberman and the rest of the scoundrels in DC know that this is BS. If they get anything at all passed, the rest will eventually also be law. I'm so sick of the dishonesty."

I'm afraid that's the plan. I've felt all along that they'd send up the most onerous bill possible, so a few of the worst provisions can then be stripped, allowing "moderates" to support a "compromise" bill. Dems and RINOs can then tell their constitutents how they voted for the bill only after fighting hard to remove the public option, strip abortion funding, address costs, etc.

After all isn't compromise the soul of moderation, and therefore the best solution for everyone involved? To use a medical analogy, many will be relieved at only having a healthy hand amputated when the doctor originally proposed to remove their whole arm.
