They’re calling it “Climategate.” The scandal that the suffix –gate implies is the state of climate science over the past decade or so revealed by a thousand or so emails, documents, and computer code sets between various prominent scientists released following a leak from the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia in the UK.
This may seem obscure, but the science involved is being used to justify the diversion of literally trillions of dollars of the world’s wealth in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by phasing out fossil fuels. The CRU is the Pentagon of global warming science, and these documents are its Pentagon Papers.

I really shouldn’t use expletives like I planned.
Their data is screwed, in total disarray, untrustworthy by their own admission. They are writing their program so that it massages the data to what they think it should say. They publish temperature variances to 0.1 degrees, yet they’re excited when the program comes to within 0.5 degrees of what they expected — they’re publishing with far more accuracy than they actually have.
I’m a skeptical person by nature, but I’m absolutely astounded at the depth of the ineptness and treachery.
By today’s stream of even more dire projections they have apparently become emboldened.
More and more programmers are doing the same. I liken it to a small leak in an earthen dam — it will grow in volume and though temporary measures will slow it, it will eventually cause failure of the whole structure. The curse of the “GW”...maybe Gore should consider avoiding all things “GW” since one cost him an election and another his soul.
So what will be the outrage when we find out how every election is tainted by corrupt voting machines. The whole nation is nothing but corruption among all of our leaders or elites.
