I have not claimed on this thread that **you** think Obama or any other politician is honest or honorable. I asked the following ( which you still have not answered):

An honest man would **HONORED** to prove in every way possible and to anyone ( even a nut) that he was a natural born citizen and eligible to be president. He would do this promptly!

So...You still have NOT answered the following two questions:

**What do Obama’s actions concerning his natural born status have to say about his honor and honest?

**What does Obama’s actions have to say about the honor and honesty of the people defending him?

I believe trumandogz did have an answer, albeit it was somewhat indirect. Let me answer it a bit more directly.

**What do Obama’s actions concerning his natural born status have to say about his honor and honest?

He's neither an honest man nor an honorable man. Unfortunately, however, neither honor nor honesty are necessary to be eligible for the presidency.

Simply pointing out that he is in fact eligible to be president in no way implies that he's a good president. I don't see why birthers have such difficulty in grasping this very simple point.

**What does Obama’s actions have to say about the honor and honesty of the people defending him?

It depends on what, specifically, they are defending. Obama is a horrible president who would destroy the country if he had his way, but not everything he's done in his life is blameworthy.

For example, he did nothing wrong by traveling to Pakistan in the 1980's. Likewise, it wasn't his decision to register as a Muslim when he attended school in Indonesia, nor was it his decision to go to Indonesia in the first place, so it makes no sense to attack him for these things. Yet birthers do it nonetheless.

Furthermore, birthers make up things to attack him on, such as the charge he registered as a foreign student at Occidental, or the charge that he's spent millions of dollars on defending birthers lawsuits. These are complete fabrications, and yet birthers continue to repeat them as if they were gospel truth.

I would say that people who viscerally oppose Obama's politics, but nonetheless defend him from such nonsensical attacks, are behaving quite honestly and honorably.

The same cannot be said for birthers who attack him for spurious reasons.

In point of fact, people like you do the conservative movement great harm in that you are distracting the public from the valid arguments against Obama.
