Only the screwed-up logic of an Obot ;)

OBVIOUSLY women can serve in these offices. It's understood.

But I cite this to demonstrate how Liberals are oh-so-willing to pick and choose what they want out of the Constitution to suit their own political ends.

It's similar to the Liberal interpretation that Universal Health Care is mandated in the Preamble via the words, “promote the general Welfare.”

It's not until nearly 220 years after the Constitution was written, that a charismatic, well-financed, Constitutional lawyer parses the intention of the Framers as to the meaning of “Natural Born Citizen” for his own political gain — enter Obama from stage Left.

As we KNOW, only Obama's mother was a US Citizen - his father was NOT:

"When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children."

HOWEVER, it is universally known how the Framers defined “Natural Born Citizen.”

Vattel's "The Law of Nations" was THE reference used by the Framers to define,
among other parts of the Constitution, the phrase "Natural Born Citizen"
(NOTE the words "nativeS", "citizenS", "parentS"):

Vattel's "The Law of Nations" is THE reference the Framers used to construct the Declaration of Independence & US Constitution, as Ben Franklin reveals:

So SIGNIFICANT was the "The Law of Nations" to our Founders that it was ONE of the ONLY TWO books purchased by Congress for use in writing laws in the 1700s:

There REALLY is no debate as to HOW the Framers and citizens alive at the time — many of whom were immigrants and/or dual-citizens themselves — defined "natural-born Citizen" or WHO they turned to define "natural-born Citizen" ...
