I go there quite a bit to keep an eye on the loony bin. There's no actual news over there. You hardly see any real news stories (I have yet to see anything about the Climategate scandal). It's mostly opinion rants about how evil Republicans are, or about how "we're winning", or how Dennis Kucinich is the only politician who actually could make America work (that last one is SCARY - there are usually more positive replies to "DK is our hero" threads than any other). You do see occasional threads about how Don Siegelman got screwed by Karl Rove or other bizarre conspiracy theories.
Tied in with this reason for watching the DUmmies is that of "quality controlling" the DUmmies--examining and testing the DUmmies to be sure they are what they allege themselves to be; open-minded, tolerant, socially conscious, honest, respectful of diversity, those sorts of virtues.
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Ha, ha, ha, ha. I can't stop laughing.
And don’t forget Sarah Palin. Despite their continuous ranting how stupid and inneffective she is, and isn’t worth paying attention to, they post thread after thread about her.

I should point out one trick the primitives use to deceive each other.
A primitive will give his own "summary" of a news article, and the link, counting on that all the other primitives will just take his word for it, without checking the link.
It's a very good thing to check the links to news given by the primitives, because of the First Rule of Watching the DUmmies: DUmmies lie, all the time, DUmmies lie.
I discovered this by accident when a primitive blared a headline, PAT BUCHANAN SAYS SLAVERY WAS THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO BLACKS, after which the primitive gave his "summary" of what was behind the link.
I clicked the link, finding that neither Pat Buchanan or the news story said any such thing.
