David Plouffe was the campaign manager for Barack Obamas 2008 presidential campaign. After winning the election on Nov. 4, President-elect Obama credited Plouffe in his acceptance speech, calling him the unsung hero of this campaign, who built the . . . best political campaign, I think, in the history of the United States of America.
More like David Poof.
So sad. I almost feel bad for him. Almost.
"We face challenging times with some hell-bent on tearing down our nation by perpetuating pessimism and apologizing for America. They suggest that our best days were yesterdays. But how can this pessimism exist? Proof of our greatness and pride is all around us today. We produce proud and great volunteers who sacrifice everything for their country.
"We can resist enslavement to big central government that crushes hope and opportunity. We must be wary of government largesse. It doesnt come free and often accepting it takes away everything that is free. Melting into Washingtons powerful and caretaking arms will only lead to suck away the incentive to work hard and chart our own course. This will only contribute to an unstable economy and dizzying national debt, and it will make us less free.
"See, in order to be self-sufficient (we) must be allowed to develop, to drill and build and climb to fulfill our promise! We can not start believing that government is the answer. It cant make you happy or healthy or wealthy or wise. What can? It is the wisdom of the people and our families and our small businesses and industrious individuals. And it is Gods grace helping those who help themselves." - Sarah Palin, July 26, 2009
Wants to beat Sarah Palin for one day, does he?
It’s good to have a big dream.
Why would anyone want his book?
Maybe Ploufe will sell as many books as Pelosi did. LOL
He couldn’t pay me to take it!
Hey David, just go Plouffe yourself, okay?
That’s what everyone should do, go out and but Going Rogue on Tuesday Dec 8th, that’s the day he’s asking for this book blitz...
Isn’t Fluffy O’s speechwriter? Hey, Fluffy, I hear Obama’s speech at WP really sucked.
Anotehr Obama megalomaniac.
Should call him David the Huffer and Puffer. Would go along with Teabagger Anderson Cooper and Keith Olbersturmfurher.
Contribute to Global Warming.
Wants to beat Sarah Palin? Sounds misogynistic.
Looks more like David Poofter to me.
I guess Grandma is going to get two copies of Going Rogue for Christmas.
Hey Dave, by this time in 2012 you will have to refer to her as PRESIDENT PALIN..get used to it
As of 5:30 am CST, Dec 4, 2009, his book is #291 at Amazon, and #1066 at Barnes and Noble.
I doubt if his plea for a one day surge to #1 will materialize, but let’s keep an eye on it, and see what the numbers are on Dec 8th.
I want to send a couple of books to friends, so I’ll do that on the 8th. Take that David Poof!
There are those who believe that Plouffe wrote Audacity of Hope. It would make sense. Someone in his position would “audition” by writing the campaign book and it would give him an opportunity to learn Obama’s cadence.
Obama, of course, claimed he wrote it late at night while he was so busy with Senate work.
