The Secret service is supposed to take a bullet for the President. But are they supposed to protect the Administration from embarrassment? It is beginning to look more and more as if this is a hit the secret service is undeserving being forced to take the crasher-gate bullet. During the Obama administration crashers were regularly let in to Presidential events.
Social Secretary Desiree Rogers, said in an interview with the trade magazine BizBash in June that she had adds extra tables and benches at every event to accommodate party crashers.

Obama’s problem is too many inexperienced people have been rewarded with important jobs, added with a general disdain for tradition and procedures that have proven successful in the past.

I know what you mean about the Clintons. Starting with Vince Foster - after all, if my best friend died in questionable circumstances, I would definitely want to know what happened! I guess that just showed how much they could get away with, and it was one thing after the other for them after that.
Degrading the WH? Yep. Literally. Recall the Tony Hawk incident? And the AF1 (or 2?) flyover - and now this. How could obama show such disrespect for the American people who voted him into office?
One good thing - the press is starting to turn a little bit, so there may be hope that Americans will wake up.

The whole thing infuriates me because the citizens of this country cannot even take a tour of the White House without a background check anymore. There is a waiting list.
No more just waiting in line while on vacation. It has to be planned way ahead of time. And the tour does not even involve being in the same room with the president, let alone meeting him.
These people were let in and had pictures taken with NO background check. Heads should roll.

2. Who are the "gate crashers" and why does the WH want to hide them from press scrutiny? Seems like a back-handed way to get Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers and their ilk into state events where public prior knowledge of their potential attendance would be toxic...
