Good job, Donna!
Unless the police are right next door there is no way they can protect people in a case like this.
A gun can. Buy one. Learn how to use it.
Yeah, she was on the phone with 911 for about 10 min. before she had to use deadly force!
God bless this Sooner....I know she will feel bad about taking out this total idiot....but it was the right move....
I would bring charges against the Sheriff's office for this were I in charge in this state. This is to be investigated for what it is...a home invasion by a potential murderer, not homicide on the part of the homeownere.
I heard the 911 call on FOX. She told the operator she would shoot if she had to. You could hear the intruder banging during the call. You hear ONE shot. The outcome really upset her when she thought she killed the intruder. Maybe she underestimated her accuracy. Turns out he had a long history of drug and alcohol abuse.
I support the death penalty for home invasion, and I am not particular about how it is carried out...
This woman showed remarkable restraint, but did what she had to do.
They played part of the call on Fox this a.m. The anguish in that poor woman’s voice after she shot him made me cry for her.
She held it together until the police arrived. Surely she will play these events over and over in her mind, but she truly had no choice. If she had held off, she would have been dead ten minutes by the time the police got there.
One less Obama voter! Good job Donna! We more like you! The jails are full, and today’s entitlement society’s criminals are emboldened. Start giving these parasites dirt naps and restore order! It saves lives, and saves taxpayer money!
An investigation probably means a perfunctory autopsy in which the coroner will rule "yup, dead by lead poisoning."
Solid shoot. I hope she recovers.
Exactly!! 10 min is an eternity in a case like this...Thank God this woman owned a gun and knew how to use it..
A good American, in my book!
I have not heard anyone ask why it took local LEO 10+ minutes to arrive at the scene.
I used to live just south of the Lincoln Co., OK line, and you have to remember this is rural area, so I can understand why it might have taken the sheriff’s office that long to arrive.
It also helps to remember that Oklahom is a red state where common sense still rules for the most part and the sheriff is not going to fault this woman for doing what she had to do to protect herself. (Boy is that a run-on sentence or what? LOL)
I kinda liked the term "Graveyard dead"...
Good guys: 1
Bad guys: 0
We in civilized society thank you.
